Video duration: 36 seconds This is a once in a blue moon event, it was diverted from paddington, where the first stop was worcester shrub hill, this train did not stop at swindon or cheltenham! it came straight through pirton at around 100MPH, for those of you who are unsure, Pirton is a level crossing in the middly of nowhere on the cross country line. hey, yes there are trains that stop here, they are the london midland 170's and they are fairly regular, i think it is about 2 an hour in each direction, they are normally the services to and from hereford. sorry for the ;ate reply as well! hope this helps

well if you go to a station on the cross country route and stay there for a few hours then you are bound to see one, my recomended times would be either inbetween 7am and 10am or 12 noon and 4pm because each saturday they go up to newcastle say and back down to where they started from, and both times i have seen them there have been 3 HST's 1 MML and 2 GNER, hope this has helped you again, if not please say, nick

They are commonly known as summer saturdays where a few HST's are hired out to the cross country franchise, like i say this only happens on saturdays in the summer time, very good if u can go and see them! Hope this has answered your question, if not please say. thanks, nick

yer, but that will all change as soon as arriva get their hst's active, you should get a nice healthy dose of everything then shouldn't you, and tamworth will be an even better place than it is now, but i know where you are, i also live in worcester, not too far from shrub hill, me and my friends get around a lot doing train spotting considering we are all 15 years old, haha

Great. well i actually live 2 mins walk from the line between bromsgrove and aschurch near where the droitwich/worcs forgate street and shrub hill line joins this line. Was the best line in the uk whenit had hsts and class 47 now it just got borin voyagers
