YouTube Australian launch party (and a car vlog)

I only caught a glimpse due to work commitments, but this was the launch of youtube.com.au at Fox Studios, Sydney, on October 23, 2007. I returned later to see if the event had spilled over into the nearby pub ... but almost everyone had left. So I sat in my car and made my first ever vlog.

Also it was kind of cool to attend as a YouTuber. I work in the media so I would normally be one of the guys sitting in the middle taking notes. But I took it as a badge of honour that they just invited me as a punter. P.S. Thanks for your subscription!

I saw a bit of the interviews with Blunty, Hugh and Natalie before I left, but couldn't see/film them from where I was standing. The event got off to a typically shaky YouTube start, but ultimately (like YouTube) it was the place to be.
