I have seen her live in bloomington indiana, and talked to her for a short while. She's beautiful, has an intoxicating voice, and a wonderfully modest demeanor about her. It was one of the best shows that i've seen, and it was in the basement of somebodys house. The personal atmosphere between performer and fan was not to be compared with by any other show i've been to.

Rhino's is both a venue and a youth media center- we have radio, journalism, mural, and video programs. I run the video program, so when the young people want to tape a show, I generally coordinate things. By the way, The Islands are scheduled to come back to Rhino's at some point in the next few months. We'll probably tape that show, and hopefully get permission from Nick to release the DVD of The Unicorns show they played back in 2004.
