What civilizations, I ask, have been destroyed by atheism? religious theism thrumps atheism every time. At least the religious man is more balanced, willing to listen from science, history, and his God, not relying on one mode of thought or study. The atheist for the most part has no inner fire. Im only speaking in generalities, not for every religious or atheist.
