I just realized that it will be 20 years sine I wandered into this town of 1.5 million to go to Art school, and I had every intention of moving on afterwards. Now the population 4.5 million (tripled in 20 years!!!) I just fell in love and never left. When I leave here, I'll be building my log house in Tennessee and leaving the city, but it's only 4 hours, and I will always come back to Atlanta!

He's around 85 in this video. He was also an incredible sax player also...alto and tenor, and he could pretty much play anything by ear. Thanks for watching and commenting! He would be flattered to know that thousands have watched these 2 videos. Too bad I didn't get footage with him with his orchestra. That would really be a treasure to see! He must have played hundreds and hundreds of shows, weddings, etc. in his lifetime. He came from a family of 13 kids! Lucky to even get an instrument.

Thanks so much! It means a lot to me that people take the time to watch the 2 videos. Even after his first stroke, he still made the effort for me to make a film. He was so talented, played alto and tenor sax and keyboards and this clarinet that I have the privilege of owning now. There's another video of him on here that's had over 1,000 hits...he would be so proud if he knew that thousands of people have seen him play on here. I'm sure he's looking down and smiling to know this. Thanks!

Just go with a crewcut or longer buzzcut, you should be able to hide any scars. I know it will look better than what you have now. Look at some hs annuals from the 80's you'll see your present cut esp if it was parted in the middle, the infamous butt cut.

Thanks for your comment, and do me a favor, promise me you'll try. I'm addicted to opiates and I have been ever since I had my first car accident years ago, now I've gone lower than I've ever been, and I afraid. I think I need rehab and methadone to get myself clean, but I deny my problem, the use finally ended up making me a quadriplegic. My right side is partially paralyzed and no feeling on my left side. I broke my neck in 4 places and my life hasn't been the same for the past 4 years.

Thank you for this video. I have been a heroin and crack addict from the age of 16 and I'm 23 now. I'm currently on methadone but I've been here many times before and it's only a matter of time before I relapse (I feel like a train wreck waiting to happen - sad, I know). It's a viscious circle and a never ending one at that. I know it can be done and people do get clean and stay clean but for me, for now, I'm an addict and I've accepted that even though I hate it.

sorry i didnt proof read what i wrote, excuse the spelling mistakes. But my mum and I found my brother dead, i watched my mum try to revive him and i called the ambulance. 15 minutes later I watched him getting taken away I was so young and didnt understand. But now im older his death really affects me cause he was a good person with a bad addiction. That night he died so did my family, cause my mum lost her first child and i lost my only brother. My mum worked so hard to help him.

My brother died of a heroin overdose 2 weeks after his 21st birthday. He was clean for maybe 7 months, then relapsed. He got kicked out of rehab my mum decided to put him in a hotel for the nighr cause it was too hard having him at home. He was suppose to go back to rehab the next day and start detox and so counselling. The next morning my mum and I went to do pick him up and he was dead. I was only 9. Drugs rewound my family and seriously gave me disturbing memeories. This was 8 years ago now.

atually 2 b honest she's worse. we did get her help and my dad spent all of his retirement money and college money for me and my brother to try and rid from her addiction once and for all but i heard she just recently left the place she was at. because my dad spent so much and i'm talking ALOT of money, its putting stress on my mom and dads marriage. All from heroin. I beg everyone who watches this to please stay away from heroin. it tears families, relationships, and hearts apart.

good for you sarah! i'm proud you were able to beat it. how long has it been? is it still hard to cope with? i'm sure it is, i have been addicted to many things in my life. i'm glad to be only smoking a little anymore, but i think about certain drugs every day. i could never do that to my body anymore. my last big binge before my accident was a handfull of xanax (a benzo used for panic attacks, very mellow buzz, major downer) that nite i crashed my truck, broke my neck in 4 places! hard times.

I'm glad you have control of it, but does anyone ever really? I wish you the best luck in your efforts to stay clear of it. I have such an impulsive/compulsive disorder, I just can't say "NO". It sucks, but I'm glad I said no to this stuff. I smoke weed occasionally and quit for 30 days every other month. It makes it so much more fun! Good Luck and Peace to you my friend. thnx 4 reminding me why i got off that sh*t.My name is sarah and i am a recovering junkie.what most people dont realize about this drug is the physical aspect of getting off it and why you "need" it. look it up its pretty interesting. i didn't sleep for two weeks when icame off it. felt like my bones wanted to come out of my skin. couldn't eat. extremely cold. the mood swings were somethin crazy. had to take medication to keep my pulse regular. as far as symptoms go, i had 'D' all of the above.

i used to be hooked on Weed and many times took the BiG H! i went through the whole drug rehab thing n stayed clean for many years, i now will smoke week for a week or 2 or a month n then quit. i can take Heroin a few times n stop. the only difference between before and now is that now i have gained the ability to quit. i have quit soo many times it is now piss easy. i now it will be painfull n it doesn't phase me. i know the pain will go away n i not once go n get on again. cont'd.
