A bad Laurel and Hardy is better than the best of a lot of other comedy teams, but, there wasn't much good that came from their association with 20th Century Fox. By no means horrible, it doesn't compare with the Roach/MGM work they did much earlier.

"Kook's Tour" was supposed to be the Stooges' next TV series, and this was indeed a "pilot film". Unfortunately, Larry did suffer a stroke before filming was completed. agreed, Moe was very well off, Larry lived in a manner that he went through alot of money (expensive hotels with his wife Mabel etc.). Curly was not "rich" but Moe looked out for him after he had his stroke. I know larry had a stroke a short time after this-maybe even during it.

"Sad that they died broke and broken down." Disagree. Moe Howard was careful with his money, and he made sure that Curly and Larry Fine had money socked away. Moe apparently died with a sizable estate; Curly Howard and Larry Fine may not have died wealthy, but they weren't destitute, either.

This isn't anything other than an early reality tv type of show. Which doesnt' surprise me. These guys were on top of things and ahead of their time ( or atleast on top in their time period. Either way , this is a classic keeper for all stooges fans. So spread out knuckleheads ! Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk.... Sad that they died broke and broken down. But everyone dies. Not every one really lives. They truly lived the life and will always live through their recorded preformances.

If I recall correctly, it was thought that Larry had had a couple of light strokes before 1970--I never thought about it until I read "One Fine Stooge." There are pictures from 1968-69 where he looks different than before. His voice sounds a bit different in the New 3 Stooges shows, and here as well.

Thank you for posting this and don't ever take it down. It was a real treat to us Stooges fans. When Moe was shaving, he really looked like his brother Shemp. While I enjoy Curly Joe, all I kept thinking was what it would be like to watch this with Curly or Shemp in it.

Roland D-50 & Alesis Andromeda

Little experiment done in a style similar to RetroSound. I made a choir patch on the D-50, and MIDI'd the D-50 to the Andromeda's analog pad sound. These two combined shocked me as it was a heavenly combination that seems like something from a JD-800.
