A brutally honest argument about a brutally honest film. Kind of funny actually. Of course, when are we not honest about each other when talking over a message board? After all, the person on the other end doesn't really exist. Oh you imaginary people and your computer generate responses, how you do amuse me!

Thanks. I can see that you understand that, in regards to this work, the cynicism comes before sarcasm. Although, I really do not hear anything very sarcastic coming from the characters. They really seem to be sharing whats on their mind. Maybe you could share which line you believe is the most sarcastic? If there is sarcasm it must be a kind of reverse sarcasm...if there is such a thing. Usually people hide what they really mean with sarcasm.

xpez... cynicism is the motivation of the FICTIONAL characters in the vid. sarcasm is the motivation of the director of this piece. since he decided to point out this "truth", he seems to oppose this kind of cynicism. cynicism usually the catylyst for sarcasm. it's easy to grasp really, try it.

Dearest imbecile, Cynicism is the impetus for the entire project. It might sound confusing to someone who can only make an objective observation about what they are seeing and hearing. "Sarcasm" lol... But making a film that reveals contemptuous, pejorative, highly exaggerated thoughts from people within a certain industry stems from an extremely CYNICAL point of view of that industry. You have failed to present a convincing argument. Your posts speak for themselves. Good day numnuts.

xpez... face it: although youtube makes it possible for you to see many things you don't conceptually understand, that doesn't mean that you should comment them all. the discrepancy between your neurotic urge to emanate your pseudo "comments" on one side, while showing a complete inability to grasp the whole meaning of this vid on the other... it's just embarrassing. nevermind your difficulties with cynicism vs sarcasm. verdict: you don't even pass as a troll. idiot.

xpez... you don't exist. poof!

This isn't sarcasm, it's honesty. If it were truly sarcasm the actors would be masking all of their thoughts with colorful metaphors and innuendos. Their words wouldn't mean exactly what they say to put it simply. That idea is what makes the dialogue strikingly original. To describe this film as sarcastic is just sophomoric.

cyn·i·cal - 1.like or characteristic of a cynic; distrusting or disparaging the motives of others. 2.showing contempt for accepted standards of honesty or morality by one's actions, esp. by actions that exploit the scruples of others. 3.bitterly or sneeringly distrustful, contemptuous, or pessimistic.

Before you go around handing out lessons in drama and literature. Please do yourself a favor and check out the dictionary first...Einstein. I think the word you were looking for is satire or parody...nimnod...but that's fucking obvious. Sarcasm? Oh you mean when the people talk shit to each other..."Ooohhh yeah I get it." Damn your smart or is it when I call you smart but I imply your a dumbass.Sarcasm, yes that's great word.

btw, xpez... i just looked at your profile. i'm somehow not surprised about it's emptyness. also the strange fact that you actually have 2 subscribers of which 1 has a totally empty profile too is... well... strange. i'm pretty sure that this is a reflection of your real life. bitter, bitter.
By: dumpsky. on 10 May 08, 13:52:03
xpez... 1. it's sarcasm and not cynicism. 2. i got a very creative job in digital post production. 3. you probably suffer some form of narcissistic personality disorder which manifests in your overconfidence in drawing all the wrong conclusions. it's actually quite shocking to watch your totally wrong approach on this vid in the first place. it shows great difficulties in grasping higher forms of satire. your totally retarded "ITS CALLED LIFE" babble truly shows that. xpez... there's no way out.
By: xpez. on 10 May 08, 03:21:56
eh...who cares. All of the cynicism in the spot is just the point of view of a privileged sub culture of people. By the tone of your comment I can tell you probably dont even have a job. And since you were able to craft a sentence using the words "wanking" and "high-tech", you must be a puss. Thanks for you insightful comments though. I enjoy making fools feel a little indignant.
By: dumpsky. on 08 May 08, 14:13:00
xpez... that was one of the most pathetic comments ever. btw... why do ppl subscribe to your totally empty profile? oh... wait... that's all you! wow... that's the most high-tech form of wanking... wow.
