this is the song that resembles the blues style of back then the most. she should have done two other songs like that. B2B had too much of a modern influence if you get what I mean. It should have been a full blown real 'back in the day' album. Christina's voice could have pulled it off.

I love Aretha Franklin, but her voice has changed a lot. I think that in her prime her voice was as amazing as Christina's, but nowadays there are few singers who can sing as well as Chris. I could mention LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood.

I really don't mind if a female singer can hit the famous C6 in chest voice (Patti) but she is not able to use her voice well like Christina does. She can sing long notes, high notes in chest voice, falsetto, some whistle register, and some low notes (such as C3, i don't believe Patti can sing it with the same control and emotion of Christina's). And it's not a matter of who is older... Christina is the best :)

Patti Labelle is a great singer, but she will never be better than Christina Aguilera. I know that Patti can hit some high notes, and some of her notes are higher than Christina's, but people tend to forget about the low notes and midrange notes. And also versatility. I don't know too much about Patti's career, but I've seen her singing only r&b and soul songs. Christina has sung r&b, soul, some jazzistic thing, pop, spanish songs... and she did it great...
