I agree with you knights, Debbie is no Britney. But as I was watching this video I noticed for the first time how Debbie looks a little like Britney in the face if you look at 1:24. And all the synchronized dancing in this video is like a clean version of the dancing synchronized dancing in a Britney video. Britney is in some ways an imitation of Debbie, only Debbie is better.

No THESUPERGIRLIE, Debbie Gibson is not the Britney of the 80's. Debbie Gibson is no Britney Spears and Britney Spears is no Debbie Gibson, they may be both pop princesses but they are different and besides Debbie Gibson is undoubtly better than Britney Spears.

Tina is capable of writing (Nutbush), her collabs with Ike were how they got a deal in the 1st place but she prefers her slickly produced MOR from the worlds best writers. Whitney's voice was one of the best that had ever been heard so she didn't need to write, the same as Babs & Celine. But theres so much talentless stars about that don't sing too well, don't write & aren't even that attractive eg. Britney so why she even made it I've no idea. Debbie had it all, the whole package, a pure talent

Thats not completely true. Artists of the past didn't all write their own stuff. Some of the greatest divas....Diana, Whitney, Barbara, Tina. They didn't write all their own music. There was alot of packaging even then. The punk bands, hair bands.....though creative, it came with a package of the time. Granted Id agree with one thing. "Artists" arent as creative anymore. There was alot more diversity in sound.

You used to have to write and performyour own stuff to get a proper record deal then...not like Britney/Christina and all these talent show starlets that are told what to do/what to sing/how to behave...there is no music industry or world of being creative anymore...it's all a conveyor belt...a factory of shite.
