You have to understand they weren't for the weak, Ford makes a v6 model for fags and women so they sell. Supra is a different animal. You say they didn't sell like there are supras on a lot somewhere that no one will buy. It sounds like every other 4 cylinder with an exhaust. Actually, a lot of people like that loud high pitched noise. Personally I like the sound of both vehicles. Then again, I've heard people stating the G35 sounds like someone taking a diarrhea dump. Its an issue of people liking different sounds an engine makes. That mustang is obviously not setup for drag racing, that's why even with slicks he can't get traction in any gear. He's feathering the clutch off the line too. With that much HP and torque, he would likely run 8's or better if the suspension was truly set up for drag. He might be setup for highway running. I don't hate imports either, I've got a mustang and an ls/vtec integra. They both are great in their own respects.

I love how every one of these Honda "kill" videos is from a roll... pretty much the weakest kind of victory. Don't get me wrong, I grew up around Hondas when I was younger, but let's be honest. Racing from a roll is wack, especially in a 2700 lb. Civic against a 3300 lb. AWD Evo whose weakness is acceleration from a roll. Try it from a dig next time, or around a track. To those say that Japanese power-plants are superior because they can get 100HP per Litre, you have to take into account that American motors aren't meant to have high revs, or a high HP/L content. No, American engines, especially the V8's that you seem to hate with a passion have something that many Japanese cars do not: Torque.

I have to say something to all those who are saying that the Hornet is indeed a bad car, because that statement to wholly false. When comparing two cars, one has to take into account more than just Horsepower, which I'm sure the Supra has plenty of. You also have to pay attention to the Torque curves; many high HP cars, that are Turbocharged, suffer from extreme lag. I am willing to bet that the Hornet has a nice, flat, Torque curve, but one has to ask himself, does the Supra?
