you know, I cannot speak for Wicca specifically as I have given way to my eclectic beliefs that all is one, but I can say this. Stop thinking that magic is black and white. If it were, we wouldn't need color TV. magic just IS and YOU yourself are NOT black or white. YOU are a shade of gray. IF you were black or white you would be either 100% posetive or 100% negative. I'd suggest accepting that and learning both sides of yourself, you will appreciate your art much more.

I believe what you are hinting at is the fact that an enclosed inverted pentagram is commonly used by 2nd and 3rd degree wiccans. the inverting is a symbolism that denotes an achieved higher understanding of the balance of the life. I own a Pentagram pendant and people who see me wearing it give me funny looks, one kid went "that's evil man, I'm gonna stay away from you!" It's ridiculous. That's sociological effects not magic. It also goes along with communication skills and assertive personalities. It can be broken down scientifically; why keep it general and just call it energy? When being specific, there are many other ways to enhance yourself. You do not need religion or semi-factual beliefs to back up your life. if books guide you on the way why dont you read the Bible? or an inspirational christian book, there are many out there by authors like John Piper and C.S. Lewis. i love books to but when it comes to religion i need proof and authenticity. i want to make sure that what im reading is the truth. i would ask you again to start reading the Bible and thinking about what it says. start in one of the four gospels or another book of the New Testament before moving on to the Old Testament.

you are misunderstanding the need for the disciples. Jesus specially chose them for their unique abilities and traits to carry on Gods word after he died. while he was on earth he held the power to make blind men see and the lame to walk. he raised Lazurus from the grave and healed a bleeding woman. when he died he then gave the disciples the Great Commision when he told them to go and make disciples of all nations. they are the reason we have the Bible today.

After seeing lots of documentaries on Nostradamus, I realized that people like the idea that he was right, and therefore they translate his words and images to fit the facts. E.g they see a burning tower image, and immediately "oh yeah, that's gotta be 9/11". I have a really hard time believing all that. Also, in all documentaries there is a recurrent word "This might represent...", "This picture might be..." Well, history is not written with "might's".

Nostradamus was a fraudster who wrote thousands of ambiguous, rambling verses, so devoid of specifics that they could be said to describe any conceivable world event. These are a big favorite with loonies, who AFTER major world events will pick one of his verses, that they interpret as a prediction of that event. The only problem is that this is not PREdiction, its actually POSTdiction. It would be a neat trick, if just for once, they could provide the interpretation BEFORE the event happened.

I think you could have used the same symbolic analogies from numerous paths that more directly incorporate Alchemy. However, neither the gate nor tansmutation circles are real in the same way as in the show. Alchemy is one of the oldest sciences we know of and it had nothing to do with religion at its creation and should hav no place in it now. If you really don't know what you're doing is merely cold reading dressed up as fortune telling that is your problem. I had two friends recently go to a tarot reader, one recorded the reading. Guess what, the second reading was the same, almost word for word. This really annoyed my friend who paid money for that tripe. Don't get me wrong. 1. I gave a reading last night over someone to the internet. It was quite accurate. The trouble is meeting a tarot reader. They do a cold reading on the client and feed off the responses and body language to ensure the client hears what they want to hear. I've had tarot readers even tell me the cards are not important, it is the symbols they show. Therefore I'm fully convinced it is merely cold reading. Answer these two questions: 1.Can you give a reading without seeing the person & make some sort of prediction as to the accuracy? 2.Can you make predictions about the future?

I used to wonder if I was a PV. People would move away from me like the plague. I'm a quiet, polite, caring guy, and I take care of all the personal hygiene stuff ( I pass the smell test). But then I started to figure something out: maybe I put out positive energy that people are unused to, and this makes them uncomfortable - much like nocturnal beings can't handle the light. Mage DalTheos, Oberon does NOT have this school open for profit. Tuition is virtually nothing at Grey School. He has no desires to become rich and powerful, only to educate those who wish to gain the wisdom of the ages. The tapestry you mention is to create a temporary setting for the video very likely in his home since this is a VIRTUAL SCHOOL there are no offices except for whatever is set up in his and instructors' homes. hmm who wants to look like a Pastor or insurance salesman? I like his outfit. this guy is the closest thing to dumbledore i've ever seen. He even made unicorns.. blows my mind.. more i learn about it the more interetsing it becomes the history of why it was done and stuff.
