I so agree with you. I am now 43 and grew up in the UK in the 70s. Imagine this white working class kid loving nithing but the wonderful black soul bands from the US. They touched my heart so much. Chilites, Stylistics, Tymes, etc. I still love this song and and band today. I have to say that black soul music will NEVER be bettered in my opinion. It penetrates the soul like no other, with emotion, and very few white singers could ever do this like this. Love it forever!!!

He made some good music I must admit, however in my dealings with Mr. Ramistella as a session player, I found him a bit egocentric and basically seeming to have a very large chip on his shoulder. THAT said, he did seem to appreciate his fans when in concert. Just wanted to share my personal experience, that's all. Others may have had a completely different take.

Thank you Manuelworker for such a great job. This song popped into my head in a dream last night and I wondered if I'd ever hear it again. YOUTUBE and manuel worker to the rescue!! I was 18 when I bought this album. Practically wore it out laying on the floor with my head between the speakers. A song from the heart. Got tears in my eyes all over again. Yeah, he had truck loads of soul and charisma! I first saw him behind his huge drumset at 16. At the Sunshine Music Festival in Honolulu Hawaii(1972). His band played along side Santana, and Journey...before they recruited Steve Perry. Thanks for all the good times... ..well my mind is goin through them changes! Wow...I did not know Buddy Miles died in February of this year. His song Down by the River of the Album "Them Changes" was one of my favorite songs and helped through my high school years. (70-74) I will always remember him and look forward to hearing him play the drums when I get to heaven. In the meantime, Dear Jesus thanks for his live here and give him a hug for us. Don G.
