ugh...i wish i had gotten the 2gb macbook instead of the 1gb but o wells....i guess i have to deal with it for now. eventually ill get the superdrive and put more gb on this shit. i already have a like um 500something gb hard drive....so isnt that good enough?

well you get a computer that never reaches the full speed it's suppose to be able to reach, features that you can get online for free, the ability to act like a dick without even knowing what your talking about, a computer that's easier to hack into than a pc.(it's been proven). And a seriously overrated OVERPRICED peice of crap. The only good thing is the OS, which if you don't like, too bad, your stuck with it. Seriously, a pc running ubuntu as an OS is 10x better.

tbh, i bought the 15" MacBook Pro, but because it is a widescreen, and my old Dell was a 16:9, even the 15" looks huge. The 17" is like a T. Its what you're gonna use it for really. If you're going to leave it at home/office, 15" is fine, and its still fairly portable. But if you're carrying it to uni/ work, 13" should still be sound

No viruses, less trouble while taking care of the system, built-in CDburning-iso-unmountig and making, easier wireless nework setup (srsly, vista is a mess in comparison), more reactive, and overall ''newer'' than windows in general, if you know what I mean. Plus, many more little things like the scrolling a window that is in background.Oh and nice built it programs like iPhoto, iMovie, garage band, iWeb...

they do run games fine, and any game works with them if you use boot camp or parallels desktop

I have used both, and see no reason to hate one or the other. I have gamed on Windows and gamed on Macs, and still have no reason to hate either. I see Windows as more suited to it, however. I do agree that it is ridiculous to base judgement on the fact that Macs aren't a gaming computer, but I have neither seen nor heard of that before, so I'm a bit skeptical. Also, the games available to computers are much different from those available on consoles. They're much more interesting to me.

let's try keeping this respectful; many mac users have been windows users, and have exprience and plenty of reason to hate windows. depending on your views of importance, if they like os x better, it suits them better than they can hate windows, because of their reasons, and windows users hate macs MOSTLY because they aren't the gaming platform, which you have to admit is a bit ridiculous. macs can run windows, and besides, for games, there are consoles.
