She's not lip-synching. It takes time for the sound of her voice to reach the people and the camaras. If you realize how big that stadium is, thats a lot of space, so its looks like it lags because sound takes that long to reach you when your that far away from her.

I think she must be singing with the recorded version because there are parts that she sings (3:31 + 3:55) which don't feature on the record. I love her whatever! :)

People, the CD version and this version sounds the same because the CD version IS this version. On the CD is says "as sung at the Olympics". Now, can we please just enjoy this great,inspiring song that it is--a theme song of one of the greatest athletic gatherings in the world, instead of arguing whether Celine lipped or not. Please? Anyone else with me?

I agree. The video quality is very poor and jarring. I am not trying to argue with anyone,and plus,I was not there. But if you look closely at the beginning, in the other half of round stage Celine is standing, there's a full orchestra playing. There's David Foster on the grand piano, and there's a hundred people that joined her for the chorus. That's a LOT of people "pretending" to "play along" with Celine's supposed lipping. Finally, at the Olympics, where the whole world is watching??

I will not argue with you I was not there in atlanta But i persnally believe that David Foster, knowing Celine, will not allow a lipsynch for this occassion This is an easy song for Celine Plus, it will be foolish for him to play piano live for a recorded Celine voice complete with an orchestra and a choir He don't do that I would agree if we say the original olympic audio probably was taken out and a studio-produced copy was put in Peace

Sorry, but this is entirely lipped synched. If you play a recording of the song simultaneously along with this performance, every ad lib and right along with every note is the exact same. She sings amazingly, but this is the olympics and the government wouldn't allow any room for error.

Stop making references to other people's ass you pervert! If you think other songs are "greater", fine. Get off this channel and go listen to that "greater" one. As for me, I don't listen to a song because they are "great", "greater" or whatnot. I listen to them because I like them, because of their words and their meanings, and it is a bonus especially if they are sung by a voice like Celine Dion.
