Im a die-hard Journey fan and have seen them in concert with Steve Perry probably 5 times and I LIKE the new guy. Whos cares if its not Steve Perry. He represents Steve Perry and Journey and his voice is a soaring, emotional tenor and its what the band was starving for. The people who bitch about it just need to learn and appreciate it. Steve Perry is an ego maniac and his voice is not even near what it used to be lets face it. He still is Journey though.

AP haters are just simply stupid persons. Journey picked Arnel to be the Front man because Arnel passed their criteria. They were saying Arnel is a real deal. First concert in Chile and succeeding concerts were successful, no doubt about that. Most critics were saying, the New Journey hit the jackpot with new Lead vocalist. Arnel is just doing his job to entertain people especially to those who are fond of music. So, give due respect to Arnel for he deserves it. More power to New Journey.

Both of them have brilliant individual voices (I'm a fan for Celine and will definitely follow Charice's career as it grows), but I didn't think they meshed together very well. Maybe they were singing in different pitches or something, but to me the two voices didn't match.
