God is forgiveing to an extent. Besides, not believing won't grant you direct passage to hell, if you were a good person you can still be sent to heaven, but since you don't belive you don't get any extra aid. Basicly, if you don't belive that you need God's help, he won't give it to you. Also, if Christians could go from a hunted, hated minority to the worlds dominant religion, then God must have been looking out for us for SOME reason. Maybe, least thats my take on the matter.

the fact that kyokushin follows by a set rules is what gives it it's downfall. In a scenario with no refs someone with skill in KUNG FU can easily defeat someone with kyokushin karate skills. Kung fu has a more street style of fighting and more technical

Depends on the technique. You can block or sweep the feet at the same time you apply the arm or wrist twist and the opponent will fall in the same spectacular fashion. I've tried it. It was a "friendly fight" and the guy wanted to see if MA are any good. We were on soft grass, so It worked great (It was a Judo technique similar to those Aikido ones in the vid)

Seagal obviously has the moves down...but it still looks fake: I know that part of aikido is learning how to fall, but those uke are literally throwing themselves down for him. Also, how comes Seagal has only done demonstrations like these with students who look to be at least a foot shorter and fifty pounds lighter than him? - I know that Japanese folks don't ususally reach 6-foot-4, but that's almost painful to watch!

Short answer: No, not usually, they result in the perosn who has not been trained in escaping the techniques by being thrown recieving an injury to the joint(s) having a lock applied to them from their own resistance and end up broken or sometimes seriously injured, but as with everthing there are exceptions to the rules, and some techniques will and do result in a throw on the person, although usually head/face first into the ground, or nearest piece of "Roadside Furniture".

yep, but as a true mixed martial artist, I can justly say that Judo/JuJitsu/BJJ are really effective arts. SO is Krav Maga: sooo much aggression there...lol u become the "Bad guy" to neutralize the threat. MCMAP is another great art. yeah on the ground it's a whole diff ball game. Lots of Judo/Jiu-Jitsu guys are sick of people classifying them all with the BJJ schools. BJJ techniques are a modified subset of Judo/Jiu-jitsu and I agree with you that most Judo/Jiu-jitsu schools would rather you throw the opponent and stay on your feet than go to the ground. You're in big trouble on the street if you're stuck on the ground with a guy, where biting, eye-gouging, fish-hooks, and anything else goes (including getting jumped by more than one dood).

Forget Segal... in Aikido Demonstrations I always see people flying around. BUT they are always Aikido students. My Q is if one has not been trained in proper falling technique (which in a way could be considered psychological conditioning to expect to be thrown) does an Aikido joint lock really result in a person flying around? Say you use a techniche on an ignorant stupid gang member would be break a joint/limb. I know a lot of the time rolling is an escape to a joint lock

Aikido doesn't work unless your partner is playing along with you. Breaking someone's arm doing this is extremely disrespectful and arrogant.
