Look them up? I've known them for years even though it was a one-man-band for a majority of the time. It is really still Muhammed Suiçmez's band. He writes the music, and basically forms a band each time to play live. He really isn't much of a writer either. He is a great player (not on the level of someone like Rusty Cooley but, great nontheless) but, his songs aren't that amazing. Mostly repetitive leads or straight up shredding. It's fun and there are cool riffs occasionally but, that's all.

I know what you mean, but when I think of a show like that featuring metal it would really depend on what the judges are looking for. It SHOULD be imo based 90% on musical ability and talent, not the metal look. Any fool can dress like a monster and bite the head off some animal and get attention purely back "shock rock". If they judged the contesting bands based on mostly the music, and had a judge lineup like say Dave Mustaine, Les Claypool, and Serj Tankian it would equal one kickass show.

Park, Battery Park when I was just 17 years old. These guys are still together and doing there thing. I caught them in Venice Beach, CA also last year. One more thing: I think Jameer's pass was a bit on the long side, so you can clearly see howard hesitating and pulling back before he jumps, and that's why he didn't reach the rim all the way. He does a similar dunk in his "vitamin water" training videos you can find here on youtube, in which he touches the rim. Nevertheless it was a dunk, 50points with stars.

I am putting these discussions to rest: He didn't touch it, but it was a dunk. He weighs a good 40-50 pounds heavier than the other contestants, and he only ran a very short distance before jumping (unlike Moon, and even Michael Jordan's free throw dunk). So given the input variables, that dunk was awesome. Plus all the show aspect that pumped the crowd, that dunk definitely deserved 50 points with stars. His dunks made the slam dunk contest one of the best contests all time.

She was dressed for a talent number, I doubt she dresses like that every day. Kids wear makeup like that whenever they're performing a dance number for a recital or part of a pageant. I wouldn't judge the mother's parenting skills based on the way her daughter was dressed up and made up to perform a cheerleading number onstage and on camera for a TV show only.

I do disagree with the commentators on Boca Negra's foul being a straight red. It was borderline. He came in left cleat down, right cleat up but away from De Guzman's legs. The contact was legs to legs. Ugly for sure and at a lower level, I would have RC the player. The tackle by the Can GK on Beasley was just as reckless. It was just as late. Hume could have rec'd a RC for his dead ball shove to get a ball for DFK. The American MF could have easily been RC for the tackle from behind.

Having been in that AR's place before (not nearly at that level) I can tell you, that is a tough call to make on the spot. Had it happened earlier in the match, no one would have talked about it.
