the world lost a gem the day janis died. i wonder how things would be today in the music industry if all the greats had survived the very difficult industry. we lost alot of great performers to drugs sadly. janis was amazing.

No really a lot of people said she was a talentless ugly singer...I don't care about good looks nor the voice really it's mostly the lyrical content but hell Joplin can sing. And the lyrics are great.
