I don't think she flew away trough drugs, I think drugs helped her to get inmerse in herself; if she wouldn't have that life, she wouldn't be who she was, and that's maybe something she just could answer (I mean to have a different life than which she got) I'm agree with this about the system killing her, but the systems kills everything, and that's a shame for humanity but we just can't see it, we still needing someone to tell us what to do or what not to do and 'till this changes we are wasted

If you notice them smiling and laughing or looking bored, its because they're listening to their own music and having trouble recreating the visual of an improvised solo.

I didn't see the film with Diana Ross. Anyhow, Ross wouldn't have been responsible for the script, and the movie was made to entertain and earn money. This is the real thing: a stunning video, it shows two sides of BH's singing (she did have a sense of humor) and she was tops.

I sat in the 10th row and was mesmerized by her personality and her performance. The theatre shook from the applause at the end of the show.

I have read many books and watched many documentaries about him, and it is pretty well known he was a user of mary j. He would take laxatives and smoke a joint while on the toilet each morning. My point - it's obvious that Oscar Peterson had loads of feeling, and this is truly a wonder of the world, but it is also obvious with some blues players, that they have feeling. Same goes with metal and rock. But in my opinion, jazz is truly the most beautiful and soulfilled music to be created. But that is my opinion, everybody is entitled to an opinion :).

Well I gotta agree with alot of people inhere, and I'm truly sorry if I make anyone mad, but I really do think, that you have to have feel in all kind of genres. I listen to it all, from metal, rock, rock n roll, reggae, r n b, alternative, indie, blues, jazz, classical and so on, and everywhere people have the feel - BUT they express it differently. Blues players is jerks if they say that jazzies don't have feel, and the same thing goes about jazzies about blues playes. Both have it. :) Cheers!
