Native's are still bitching, the environment is worse than ever, I can buy the same 'snappy threads' in a halloween costume store. The 60's + 70's are a sore spot because they illustrate that no matter how incredibly awesome something (or its people) were, it will always give way to time. Because those times were so great and stood so high, they fell the hardest, and now we're haunted by their broken ghosts. Great music, though.

Your generation's contributions are superficial at best. Thanks for the jeans, and everything, but also "thanks" for coffee house bikers, yippies, and the other nostalgic cancers that gnaw on our current culture. The 60's and 70's was all about self-love; which created the superficial 80's, and now, the apathetic 00's: because, in part, you guys gave up a really sweet thing. You're all no worse than any other era, but you certainly didn't change a single thing (for the better).

really? I learned the song in EEEEBe I even taught myself how to tune it (as I couldnt find ANYwhere online how to do it, but its not that hard) What I think he does is tune the A string WAY down so its the same as low E. Then, for D tune it up two octaves to "Middle E" we'll call it, then tune G down to D. B and E remain the same. I can play this entire song, and thats the tuning I learned it in. I could be wrong of course, but it sounds JUST like it, so yea... Peace ~Ayet

I would love to hear or read an interview with Judy Collins on her reaction to hearing this song. Imagine hearing your ex on the radio singing of their love for you. I know that Clapton did the same thing with Layla. I'm sure there are many others I am not thinking of. Perhaps VH1 or someone similar has already done this. Paco fue un inovador del nuevo flemanco, no se le quita ese merito en lo absoluto es y sera una leyenda, paco fue un nino prodigio de la guitarra pero no un genio, por que no aprnden a difernciar una cosa con otra y se meten su bandera espanola al culo. Paco no invento el flamenco, pero si estuvo en el momento ideal para difundirlo mundialmente y le hizo innovaciones gracias al encuentro de aldimeola y el jazz.

This performance is kick-ass! I love "Spare Parts," and that was a good intro too. I feel that this entire album could be one of his most underrated works, and lyrically stunning. You could tell that this was the point in his life when things started to change for him. He still has songs about betrayal in this album, but he moves on to peace in the 90s. Is that Patti on guitar? I wonder when she picked that up becuase she wasn't on it for the USA tour.

ahh mean machine - you are right on. That's what the Boss does, he writes and sings about life. The thing about this particular video is how great it is live. The original on the CD was very good. This is fantastic - the piano prelude, writing the score for the brass, Steven's opening, Patti's harmonies all make it a great video. Lots of bands can produce a decent studio recording, but something like this - live - shows true talent!! Sounded like the audience like it too...
