no offense to any of the actors involved because it was a great job, but, there did lack enthusiasm as you said from the supporting cast, Pink and The Worm are however obviously very into Pink Floyd and the film as can be seen. Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it. This was only the second movie I made, and I wanted to make it to kind of help people understand The Trial part of the movie Pink Floyd: The Wall. Hardly anyone in it really wanted to make it because they didn't really understand what was going on. They were severely confused when they watched the movie so they could lip-sync to it.

Was this an assignment for school, or was it just a creative idea you and your group of friends decided to bring to fruition? Whatever the reason for creating it, I think you guys did an extraordinary job! I am very impressed. The sound quality was sub par, but I feel that you have a future in film-making should you desire that. You did the best with the tools you had at hand. However, your actor delivers the line as if he is afraid and angry. As if he is already considering that the bird may be some daemon but if you read the poem closely you see that he develops this fear a few verses later. Check out the reading Vincent Price did. It's here on youtube somewhere.

This criticism is meant to be constructive. You or your actor misread a fair amount of the poem and lost all of the facets of the character. Pay more attention to what is written first, then construct your character, then rehearse, then film. For example: when then raven first enters the room and sits on the bust. The line from the poem before the character speaks: "Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling, By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,"

Well, the imagery that he uses, regarding teams and players, how his father wanted him to be this big "player", but he played for the other team (which is why his girlfriend is with the captain of the other team.) Also, his coach (God) is disappointed with him, and says he should have never created him. Specifically, the line "I'll prove to the crowd that I come out stronger" was a dead giveaway to me. If you just listen to the song with this theme in mind, it really is quite clear.

I guess they just assume that's the character's name. For those of you curious about the sign, we shot almost the entire video with Marshall Gough as the main character, and at the last minute, on the most important scene, he flaked on us. So we ended up having to reshoot the whole video with Dalton Woody playing the lead instead.
