No, I don't think that's what this song is about. It's about Andrew Wood, lead singer of Mother Love Bone, who died in 1990 of a heroin overdose. At least, that's what I've heard

:( for those that dont know this song is about suicide that he wrote after his girl commited suicide because the lead singer was abusive to her. He never intended it to get that serious and he regrets ever touching her. RIP
