Receiving $1 million-worth of MacBook Pros Posted by: WeebMac
Video duration: 78 seconds The school where I work (fullsail.com) started this thing where most new students order their own MacBook Pro for their classes. Apparently this truck is just the first shipment. I wish there was an extra one for me. Display Video Comments | Hide Video Comments | Add Comment |

You typify the ignorant outsider. Shame. Get a clue, kid. :-)

(cont)... If you are delivering a HIGHLY desirable consignment, worth $1,000,000 - SOMEHOW I think that the company shipping these, would take any/every step possible, to ensure their safe delivery, no matter what. Talk about stupid replies on YT - D'UUUH!.
By: unlokia. on 21 Jul 07, 23:07:39
Do any of you idiots actually *THINK* before commenting?. Perhaps one of the door latches was stiff, and needed a little tap to open it. Perhaps there were TWO security seals (sheesh, I'd sure HOPE SO!) were *YOU* there at the time of delivery?. No. You were not. Stop speculating, and say something constructive, instead of displaying sheer ignorance and malice. "Better it be, to be THOUGHT a fool, than to open one's mouth, and remove ALL doubt!!"

The seals on trucks must be cut.... There is no key, that way the driver has no key and cannot tamper with the contents of the trailer.

Oh! Another thing. Full Sail conducts classes with unorthodox scheduling compared to traditional schools. Full Sail tries to reflect actual working conditions of the media and entertainment industry, so you may work on your education at any time, day or night. Ergo, it may be difficult to hold a job to pay for living expenses, so it's VERY important to get money from loans, grants and, if possible, from family and friends who can support you.

As for whether or not the students get the Macbooks, I would have to say that it's a good possibility considering that they are intended as desktop replacements and are quite capable of that task for a wide variety of work, including film production. Full Sail does frequently invest in equipment to keep everything as up to date as possible. Of course, the laptops would likely remain the property of Full Sail.

Full Sail also conducts tours of their campus to prospective students who inquire and request an invitation, but you must pay for your own travel and lodging. The tours have A LOT of flash, which is impressive. But, try to consider beyond that when making a choice. Definitely check as many of these schools out as you can so you can make an informed choice for yourself. It is YOUR choice and YOUR future, so make the best choice FOR YOU.

world wide web (dot) fullsail (dot) edu Full Sail is a very good, though expensive, school specializing in the technical aspects of production. They do have programs for creative aspects of production, but other schools such as UCLA, UCF, AFI, NYFA, or the Krane Academy might be better or worse choices, depending on your needs and wants versus what the school offers.

so were they given to the students...im plannin on majoring in film how do you get to go to this school..is there a web site?

Well, with over $1 million dollars worth of insured merchandise, it definitely makes sense to have that kind of a seal. Otherwise, the addressee can refuse delivery if the seal was broken, which means that the shipment may have been compromised (stolen).

"Full Sail" is a media production school specializing in music, motion pictures, television, computer graphics, video games, stage and concert, and other kinds of production, especially technical skills. It is based in Winter Park, Florida.
