Use your brain, I said ALL Americans which includes both the average Joe, who was too lazy in school to get a proper education in order to get a decent job, even though we have public schooling which is open to everyone, and the elected officials who make irresponsible laws. social security is one of USA "4deficits",acording to the movie. I think the others solve by internal strong economic politics. But,i think,the BIGGEST problem u have isnt the credit crunch but inflation of your currency,that 700B Bailout full applied will worst it...in my opinion u should stop your legislate in the that u federal reserve to produce currency. That S&L bailout was "only" 150-350 billion. BTW, Bush Sr spent 75 BILLION of taxpayers money on bankrupt Savings & Loan's in the state of TEXAS alone with Bush's cousin accounting for his share. Crook Charles Keating tried to get Senator McCain to help him commit fraud. McCain barely held on to his senate seat while Keating went to jail. 20 yrs later we have Bush Jr presiding over something called "THE GLOBAL CREDIT MELTDOWN" with McCain running a joke of a campaign with a joke of a VP.

If we put in place Universal Health care we could cut out Auto insurence high costs as well as work comp costs for both the employer and worker. We could bring jobs back to the USA and help turn this around.

Well, no company is controled by who is suppossed to control it. Do CEOs run companies? No, because they are paid millions whether or not a corporation makes money, but can't make any decidions. How about the Board of Directors? Nope, because then there would be deadlock and arguing all the time. And the shareholders, who own parts of the whole? Nope, because then they'd vote out the Board and the CEOs. So it's just like the US... nobody's running the business.
