The good is that it's fast and with the 11.1v 2200mah 3 cell lipo it was very fast and it climbed well and it rolled fast, the wind can take it for a bit of a tumble but it could be corrected easly.

I got one of these back in spring and well I had issues with it, The radio that I got has that crappy slider throttle,The thin cowling and engine mount are to delicate both crack up easily. The biggest problem was the wing cracking during flight and pulling on the aileron wire on one side putting it into a slow roll which leads to creative landings. Replaced wing flew thru 3 batteries and the same thing started to happen. Servos are junk, replacement parts cost to much, I won't buy one aging.

Yes, this plane IS better than the Mustang, for numerous reasons including, but not limited to: The radio gear is better and uses the improved "ZX10" system. The battery hatch is on the top of the fuselage, and not the bottom as it is on the mustang, so the battery does not fall out when pulling "high g manoeuvers". There are hand grips in the bottom of the wing, to enable easy hand launches. This is difficult with the Mustang (easy with the spitfire) Also, the spitfire is more aerodynamic.

Yes, you have to program the receiver, if you want to use lipos. It is a very process, just read the instruction manual. If you wanna fly with a lipo, it is importan to program the receiver for lipos because you could dangerously discharge them. By programming the receiver, you will be prevented from discharging the lipo too much and causing damage to it. I did not know this before too and fucked up 2 lipos.

Trust me you've made the right choice. It is considerably lighter than the P51 Mustang and it sounds like the real thing when you do a nose-dive at full power 'cause the prop starts to vibrate. Never ever let the plane discharge the lipo battery too much! Always make sure that the plane is set for accommodating lipo batteries.

You will love flying the 11.1v lipo powered spitty! Dont forget plenty or elevator imput on those tight turns or the nose will drop quickly and BANG! Before you know it your up for a prop and a cowling ect.. Enjoy Flying !!

Ive got the supercub. my first rc plane very good trainer mastered it. was gona get the p51 mustang as my second, but ive read that the spitfire is a better plane to fly, easier to hand launch etc getting one this week, hope i,ve made the right choice, I think the compatable lipo batt upgrade clinched it for me.

Cause it's really hard trying to get a good drift in the same time as you're supposed to drive very fast around the track. and.. It's supposed to be some typ of sand/gravel or whatever it's in english(Im swedish), and in some places it's very slippery, and some places you have very much grip. Safest and quickest way is to mostly just roll through sharp bends.
