Wish I could've gone, but when I went to try and buy tickets all the standing tickets were on ebay as were all the decent seating but looking at this video it looks like there were plenty of decent seats available, ah well hopefully Metallica will come back to the Arena in Newcastle when they tour the new album.

Well, truth be told, it only looks 3D, but it's actually played in 2D. It's basically the original Sonic games, except with added twists that meld very well with the game. The boss battles are pretty fun too, albeit they can sometimes be frustrating when trying to perfectly s-rank them. But then again, I suppose that's the point. Check it out; I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

I think our friend has the common 7/26/80 show as Sweet Leaf was not played there as they played a short set that day. There is a 7/6/80 LA Forum date on the books, but whether it is real, hard to know.

Do you remember the date of that show by chance? Because the only show I know of them doing that was recorded was the show they did at the LA Coliseum on 7/26/80 (that would of been with Ward). Not saying there weren't other ones, but it would be interesting to know.

I've got one bootleg from the heaven and hell tour 1980 (Forum / Los Angeles, but not with Bill Ward anymore), but Sweet Leaf was not included in it. -.- That's a pity. Awesome version of this song, thank you very much! Dio rules! :) Iommi should release the bootlegs from the 1980 tour as official live albums as deep purple did it with their mark III concerts 1973/'74. Would be great :)

Hi, bizbutton, yes you're right. The motto was written by Eugène-Étienne Taché who also designed the Quebec coat-of-arms. He was an architect and engineer who rose to become the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands for Quebec --- quite a talented guy! I think every story deserves a happy ending. A little company founded in 1942 by a French Canadian named Joseph-Armand Bombardier grew in time to become a Fortune 500 company...

AC is a band i feel like you can either love or hate. It's hard to just "jump" into them, since every album is pretty different in comparison. And i enjoy them not based on how complex or not complex they are but on how original they sound; something interesting which you shouldn't take too seriously, since its not their "words you should follow, its your insight".

Their music is, at first, terrible. I know I hated them at first listen. The music part of your brain works by finding repetition in sounds. Animal Collective uses very subtle repetition. Also, sometimes the notes are hard to follow from the heavy amounts of editing the band notoriously adds. You might not like them now, but give them a few more listens. Remember how I said I hated them at first? They're my favorite band ever.

Personally, I think you think too highly of this performance. It's not exactly a brilliant or complex what they're doing. Instead of doing their rhythms and pitches with instruments, they're doing it with their voice over a simplistic voice. The reason you're calling it complex and brilliant is because they're making sounds in ways that is not necessarily easy to listen to, thus making it not mainstream. It has nothing to do with the actual musicianship of the band.
