I haven't heard many artists play a twelve string Guitar. A. Collins, A. King, BB. King, I know really those that I have scene perform. I didn't see Jimi perform live (regretfully) He amazed me when he came out with Hear my Train a Comin. With a 12 string Guitar and later, Memorial day 1970 blew the World away with His own school of music electric hear My Train a Commin. but jeff was so drop dead gorgeous so they need a drop dead actor to depict him haha but on the serious side, i understand what you mean LisaTwamley08. I like the fact that jeff is not on the radio in the hot hits etc it would ruin the beauty of his songs and he wouldn't be appreciated in the way hes meant to be. the movie has to be made in the right way and not advertised as a big hollywood block buster and the person that depicts him has to be raw, soul-bearing and full of emotional depth.

i was born in the early ninetees and have to say that i didn discover the music of Jeff until i was about 15 years old.. i have to say that he has changed the way i play and look at my music and he hsa been a true inspiration. Why not explore new roads? If it's not good, don't care about it. Control made me feel more strongly for Joy Division, Walk the Line I though was a great movie too. If they make this movie about jeff, and it sucks, of course I will condemn it because you just don't touch the really good stuff without having something good yourself. But I don't see the point in not having people making movies about artists just to "let it be".

I'll tell you what will happen if they make a biopic. They will get some drop dead gorgeous actor to play him and then any 12-17 year old girl who goes to see it will be like. Oh my God I LOVE Jeff Buckley when really they love the guy who played him in the film and they actually can't relate or understand Jeff's music at all because they're too busy having a crush on some shitty actor. That's exactly what happened with 'Walk the Line' and thats exactly what would happen with a biopic about Jeff

It is amazing how led zeppelin, one of my favorite bands of all time, can make current bands and music seem rudimentary, pedestrian, and downright lousy. The best decade for music was easily th 1970s. I was born in 1970 and had to endure the junk in the 1980s as I grew up. I honestly feel whatever there is to do in rock n roll has been done. Come on man. THINK for a moment how incredibly ridiculous this whole implosion theory is. When you examine it it simply falls apart from the SHEER silliness of it. I was the news camera guy on a very large building implosion. I saw it less than a block away. It is a very deliberate, timed event that happens in stages.
