I did the math (to the best of my ability!!!) and 1197 is something like 1/100th of 1% of 15,000,000. That's a believable number for clicking on the wrong button. This has to be my favorite song by Mckee. The harmonies are fantastic =D Playing in a different tuning isn't cheating at all, it is a technique used by guitarists who can really think about fretboard theory to achieve making a desired tone humanly reachable. Andy's playing is still quite difficult and he does it masterfully. This man has study much I imagine =)

tomprimrose1988......stop the drugs buddy. You can't play McKee's music if you are using a pick, that is what makes his music what his music is. I know in your year experience you have learned to tune a guitar and apparently how to hold a pick but in year two three and four, you'll learn music. Just wait, it gets better when you know what you are talking about.

this is kinda harsh, but look at thsi video and then look at his newer remakes of this... it doesnt even compare.... im just think if hes lost some of his flare and intrest or hes just moved on from all his older songs, their all like it when he plays them on his new greenfields, his older stuff he gets into mroe, and has mroe fun playing when he was into it, in 2006. i dont know what or why he sound worse now on these songs but im just hoping he isnt slacking, i love andy mckee, hes the best.

Years ago I took guitar lessons from a number of no-name guitarists, all of which could drop your jaw with one riff. They weren't this good, well one was close, but I was stunned as to why they weren't selling records. Each one had reams of going big but not at the expense of bastardizing their music. They felt the music they made should come from them and not a contract, and refused to consider a contract if it meant recording songs they didn't like or if it forced them to change styles.

Ive never seen or heard someone play guitar like Andy before, he really uses the guitar to its full extent. What i mean by that is how he taps different parts of the guitar for sounds and also using natural harmonics in mostly all of his pieces. He mastered the guitar. For all those equating Mr. McKee's stylings with those of Mr. Tommy Emmanuel (sic), that is like comparing apples to kumquats! The only similarity in the stylings is the use of thumb and fingers to sound the notes. Tommy's style, by his own admission, is directly influenced by Chet Atkins. Mr. McKee's style is completely different. Both are exceptional in the styles they have chosen, but there are to few similarities to say one is better than the other. Taste is the deciding factor here.
