well, it feels like they tried to make it faster on on ac4ta, but i think the arena's are a bit to big, and the gameplay doesn't quite feel right, but with just a bit more tweaking, i think it could be alot better.

The playstation 1 Armored Core games were amazing, they were fast paced and the weapons felt powerful. When AC went to the PS2 the game got slow and the animations were sloppy making the weapons feel slow and weak.

im waiting for the full game here in the US but i downloaded the demo with my HK account.... I cant figure out how to do a quick U-turn, like when your flying and you turn 180 degrees so your facing the opposite direction, the controls for this game are hard to master but thats what makes it fun

Which is probably one of the reasons the engine failed, the other (from what I'v heard) being physical damage to the radiator and engine from bullets, apparently it wasn't fully armoured. Good thing too- at that point it might have just been his fuel tank that would have dictated the length of his attack

Now if those mechs would be even unmaned it would be worser, since then they can do whatever they want without risking their soldiers lifes. Cool. I never knew that Skid Row were influenced by them. Coincidentally, Skid Row and Metallica used to party with each other during this period ala (or e.g.) Ratt and Motley Crue in their respective hey days. Given how this album was released in the same year as the black album, it's interesting how Metallica's Holier Than Thou is reminiscent of Armored Saint's Spineless (lyric concept and pace). Umm no. Refer yourself to AC: Nexus which imo is the best AC game in the whole franchise. How can you gear up in ACFA if you only get new stuff at the end of each chapter... and how the hell can you tell which mission is to be skipped anyway other than already playing the game?! The story in the game is you(the player) are a well-reputed merc (which means that has already a very good selection of weaponry available, no only 6 guns) that has to follow missions for his contractors. THAT's BS!

it's not 4/10, more like 6/10 but yes, you'll prob get bored around the third mission and for many reasons: -no real customization available at the beginning -no reward other than cash from most missions -lack of story and background is too vague (unless you played the previous AC, you won't understand the background of the whole game) -missions aren't balanced making them too frustrating This game follows a sequence of small design mistakes where in the end has a huge impact.

This kind of thing at this isze, if it could run would be ideal in places ith tight spaces where manuverability is required and small size is an asset. When developed it may become as fast as a tank but more manuverable, able to go places a tank cant, and easier to hide.

The OP-I Isn't so much a cheat as an asset to advance an existing player's abilities, just like if a pilot had cybernetic implants or AI protocols to enhance his combat abilities. To be honest, the only thing wrong with OP-I is that some people think its "cheap" to use it. If they want to not use an advantage the game has specifically programmed into it to make the game easier, they can stop bitching and have a harder time than the more strategically sound players. What saddens me about the rising AC games is that no one has the skills to use close range battle as well anymore. It seems mostly focused on far-ranged combat, no blade skills and variety. Missles, GL, and Dual weapons. Sad... Leos Klein would be disappointed. :
