He is also saying that clean coal technology needs to be pursued to be competitive with the Chinese and to free us from needing foreign fuel. It was top performers in the life insurance department that went on the trip not executives. Its a very common practice by ins co's, Am Fam, Farmers, Allstate, AIG, State Farm, and many others. Plus this "bail-out" is a loan, they are paying it back in 2 years at 11% intrest. I work at AIG and yes its really crappy right now and I totally understand everyones stress about this... trust me! the big three must change direction. they must start making vehicles that are more affordable and energy effeicient. other wise the bailout or whatever money they get will do no good. i'm from michigan and the possiabiliy that hte big three will fall is really freightening indeed.
