Of course it was a terrible choice for God the Father to sacrifice his Son. The most amazing thing and what this wonderful video can not show is that the sacrifice on Christ's part was willing. He could have stopped it at any point, His life was not taken, He willingly gave it up! He suffered willingly in the Garden of Gethsemane where He took upon him not just our sins but our mistakes, our infirmaties, our sorrows, our loneliness...there is nothing we experience that He hasn't experienced.

I'm in the business of writing and photographing for magazines, so I've been to thousands of concerts! One of the lovely things about Art was that to look at him, one wouldn't expect such a pure, but powerful, sound to come out of him. The Simon & Garfunkel concert I attended in the '70's was one of the best I've attended, not to mention proving the emotional power of live singing vs lip synching. Both Paul and Art gave it their all during a concert, and it was appreciated and remembered well.

I think either mark or myles (or both) have said in interviews that they have a good start on writing for the next album. there's talk of them going in the studio about mid next year and an early(ish) 2010 release date. I'd imagine this will depend on what happens with myles and the jimmy page project (if he gets the gig with page, john paul jones, and jason bonham).

The song is great dude.Myles and the band are killing it and it's probably one of my best alter bridge songs on a vocal and rythm guitar standpoint. Thats complete bullshit sorry to say, that solo is very technical and fits the song perfectly, gives me chills its so good. Mark has never made a bad solo, and this is one of his best IMO. Anyone that doesnt like anything about this song shouldnt waste thier time listening to them because its one of thier best songs although blackbird is probably the best rock album ever.
