Allow me to correct myself. This is actually a piece of a short film called "Blossoms and Blood" (really just an extended music video) which accompanies "Punch-Drunk Love" on the DVD. This song isn't in the movie, but Jon Brion did write the film's score.

I really can't imagine that Jon Brion isn't a fan of both artists. It has to be said, though, "Creep" is Radiohead's most maudlin song and the stand up piano waltz is Tom Waits's stock in trade. What makes it funny is that it kind of works.

Because this is one song in an entire set that averages about an hour and a half. I can understand the daftness of requiring a whole band, but what Jon does here is special and visionary. A band of randomized musicians usually mosey onto stage with him throughout the night. Jon playing by himself is 'better' because it best represents the vision he has for his work. this movie totally blew my mind. i was expecting typical charlie kaufman humor and it had plenty of it..what blew my mind was that i didnt expect to get emotional watching it. at the end before his last memory of clem was erased when she says "meet me in mauntauk" i got a big fat tear rolling down my left eye. i love that even thoough their memories were erased, there destiny was still with each other, and thats why they got to meet twice. beautiful. chokes me up thinking about it

aaaaah this is amazing!! hey can you 'feel' memories?? I do right now.. is it normal?? saw the movie 1st time in Brighton.. picked it up on dvd from hotel reception & stayed up all night watching it all over & over again.. 1/2 way the night went outside to sit on the stony Brighton beach just staring smiling feeling kinda 'spotless mind' amazed.. vow!!

Wow! This song hit's my situation right on the nose man! Jon Brion is a genius,I love his work on the ESOTSM soundtrack.But this is an awesome song,basically saying yeah I'm over you,but I STILL have that little soft spot for you at times.You still cross my mind at times and there still is a "slight" sting.

it's sad to think of the thought process behind the person making this comment. he obviously watched the video and saw how passionate Jon was about his music, yet still made a comment demeaning him.
