I bought 2 iPhones last week. See my videos! My iPhone won't work 1 mile away from a tower and I had to pull the SIMM card out to put in my Cingular 8125 in order to have cell service. My wife's iPhone (in the stand-by mode, no WiFi, no 3G) runs dead in 4 hours. My old TracFone works better than my 3G as far as a "phone." It does work well off my WiFi here at the farm. I'm a pilot and like the GPS, although it can't compare to my Garmin 496.

Gotta disagree with you on this one, SWP. The Big Three ARE marketing toward the American upper middle class. Ford's crown jewel is the Mustang. Top of the line Ponys START at $35-$40K. Like that's a cheap ride. GM's prizes are the Corvette, Escalade, and STS. They tried to elevate the Hummer and the GTO, but failed. The new Camaro will be number four. Chrysler now has the Challenger, which is replacing the Charger. You don't see ads for the Focus, Cobalt, and Sebring on TV. Too common.

Any expensive car on this planet is German, except for maybe a rolls royce or Bently or Ferrari but other than that all German (Audi, Benz, Porsche,Volkswagen, BMW our roads here in Germany r the best in the world (ever hear of autobahn???) u can go as fast as u want our roads r made for fast cars like porsches and bmws a german car in america is lost going 60 miles an hour wtf?

I'm in Europe at the momment and GM and Ford have some really good cars outside of the US, which they can take back or manufacture that would easily rival many of the imports, but I think they try to keep them away because they would eat up the sales of the large amount of crap they sell in America. But I agree they could get rid of some of the models along with marketing Execs. Even Daewoo's got a decent lineup, and they sell those in Korea.

Na, this kind of talk is good for a change...because many black people who were working on assembly lines have gotten laid-off in places like Detroit/FLINT Michigan and other cities in Ohio.
