Again, the ball hit the guy in the chest. Jorgensen ran through that line like water through a seive. I don't care if they were kicking from the one-yard line, they wouldn't have made it. It doesn't matter what angle you're kicking at if your O-line can't block for you. If a guy is standing right in front of the ball before it is kicked, he's gonna block it, penalty or no penalty.

1. If that is not excessive celebration, what is? 2. The rulebook clearly states that you cannot throw the ball into the air. If he had thrown it lesst than a foot into the air,i would agree with you. but since the ball LEFT THE TV SCREEN. that is definately excessive. 3. you dont understand the dynamics of kicking a field goal. that is, when you're closer you can lob the ball through the upright. when you're farther, as is the case here as a result of the penalty, you have to kick it lower for accuracy. but you wouldnt know that being from byu. now put down that fucken physics textbook authored by joseph smith and go to a real university instead of that church you call a school

I don't "miss" your point; it's irrelevant. The only things that can restrict actions of citizens are laws, contracts, and the rights of others in conflict with your actions. A relationship as complex as university-student can exist ONLY through contract law: a significant amount of MONEY and RESPONSIBILITY are at stake. For serious, two-way contracts to be upheld they must be FAIR. A contract where you pay an entity a lot of money, and then they order you around like a dog--will not be upheld.

if you do a haka, you must have a straight back. when you lean forward, it makes you look unbalanced. therefore weak. try it. you'll see and feel the difference. check it out with these big boys. they are all bent forward, not right, it looks weak. even a skinny guy like me can look alot more intimadating then these big musclely boys. just remember to keep your back straight. you'll be suprised at the result. oh im maori and been doing many haka's for as long as i can remember...

That is a nice thing but if Utah wins, they might get humiliated by a great team which would be a detriment to all of the MWC teams. I don't think that they are any near as good as the 2004 team. Another thing is if Utah wins, their recruiting will get better. It's already better than BYU's because BYU can only recruit players who want to live the honor code. Utah gets more true 'athletes' as it is. This has always baffled me. Why isn't Utah better every year? BYU has too many slow white guys :)

Another thing is, if Utah wins (which they will) then they will go to a BCS bowl, that will probably be the Sugar Bowl. If they go there, the MWC gets 17 million dollars I believe, which then goes out to all of the teams in the conference, and comes out as 1.5 million for each team. If BYU wins however, Utah does not go to a BCS bowl, and nobody gets anything.

Oh, and unfortunately I don't have a video--I would like to get one of them doing that piece and Homeward Bound, but we'll see. I would like to say, however, their outfits, presence, and overall performance is really good for a female acapella group. I find that too many all-girls groups don't put in the pizazz needed because they are embarassed or just don't buy in. But these ladies do have that :)

Hah--those videos are from a long while ago, and they SUCKED for a long while. They've improved, and I mentionned them b/c I heard their arrangement this year--tasteful and balanced. And the projecting over the choir thing, that doesn't count as much b/c she's got a mic, and the accompaniment doesn't necessitate that. She's not straining--she's using her diaphragm and all, she just.. it was too abrasive for the song; I felt her excitement got the best of her and it made some phrases droop.

We have a girl that sings Tenor with us in our Show Troupe, and she is the ONLY one in our section that wasn't constantly reminded about pitch, and she was never told to get on top of the pitch because she was already there.
