Well technically you replied to my comment first. As a matter of FACT Bert Jansch was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He is Scottish. And if you study carefully, gypsy music originates in India with sitar. So it's Scottish gypsy MUSIC! This PARTICULAR version of a song that was once an olde English and now American traditional contains (from my perspective) musical influence from Bert's native Scotland and the Indian sitar gypsy homeland. Glad to see a teen with some respect but keep in mind, she probably played this same routine 100+ times and was bored with it. As a jazz drummer she could play much more compicated stuff. When you're smiling on the outside and dying on the inside it probably comes out a litte hokey. Hope you take the time to check out their "Iced Tea" and "Caravan" recordings. Cheers P.S. Well, Halloween I and II really did reshape the horror/slasher movie genre big time. He used a lot of tripy camera angles and spooky POVs and dollying effects to create a frieghtening atmosphere in place of lots of fake blood and flying limbs. So yes not all of his movies are silly, but I think he's got quite a few mistakes too.

Carpenter films are not silly in my opinion, i like his horror movies because they create alot of fear and suspence. But i do not agree with The Fog being beter than The Thing, i think The Thing is his best film :D

The ending did make sence because Blake came back to kill 6 people for revenge, it even said it on the wooden plank earlier on in the movie, Father Malone was the sixth one to be killed. If you have watched the whole of this movie you will understand what im on about. And they were not wrestling for the cross, they were getting burnt by it.

Perry Como and Karen Carpenter, two very unique excellent singing voices which I don't think we will hear again. Such a great shame annorexia was not understood then as it is today or her life could have been saved and she could have still been singing today. I seem to remember in the 70's if you had depression or annorexia you were thought of wrongly as a loony and put in mental hospitals. Great shame. Lena zavaroni was another who died of annorexia.

I've been a fan of Karen for most of my life and what is sad is the fact that she had a hard time with her demons, but what's even more sad was that she never gave Christ a chance to help her in her life. How sad that she had so much yet was so sad in her personal walk on this earth. We all need to learn from this and give our hearts to Christ and allow him to change our path. I hope that in the end she made things right with God but sadly we'll never know for now.
