I know, I listen to a lot of Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, and Pearl Jam but none of Load/Reload sounds like that. More like Aerosmith and AC DC, and that's a good thing. Countdown To Extinction was a rip of The Black Album, and tell me it's just coincidence that Megadeth released radio friendly albums right after Load and Reload. I still like Megadeth but that's sad but true To top it all off, they are both great bands.

Bravo to you Captain Rim. I mean, the different denominations of Christianity will have different views on these things, where Baptists take everything very literally from the Bible. i understand what you're saying here. our relationship with God is more important than a book, BUT the bible is from God. Why turn away from something that God sent to help us? The Bible shows us what is right and wrong. God can speak to you from things other than the Bible, but the Bible shows us what is from God and what is not. I just think that's kind of a closed-minded, black and white way of looking at things. While it's true that whether or not you're a Christian (which I am) is a pretty black and white concept, there's also a lot of grey areas in the Bible which it doesn't hurt to question/explore. I'm sure God would rather us doubt certain things at times, than be completely oblivious towards wanting to grow in our Christianity just because we're so arrogant as to think we have it all figured out.

There's tons of different religions out there, making it tricky for people to choose just one. I'm sure Jesus realizes this; which is why he supports those who HAVE faith, period. I don't think he's so hung up on what they have faith in, specifically, because nobody knows the answers when it comes to God anyways. He just wants people to seek Him while loving others and the world around them, I guess, because that's all we can do. And in this process, our faith and beliefs will grow naturally.

True, but at the same time, Jesus came to set the bar for everybody else by being the most selfless and accepting person to have ever lived. So I don't think he meant that you'll be condemned from going to Heaven for simply not believing in Him, because there's people who TRY hard to believe in something but maybe have a hard time grasping certain concepts about what to believe in. Jesus doesn't strike me as a discriminatory person so I can't see why he would condemn those who at least SEEK Him.

yeah it seems like the first part doesn't fit, but the song itself says "I just want for all of this to end" and in the start it's talking about "life after death and taxes". They could be recognizing that even though we go through tough times in life, there is life after death. They just point it out in reverse order. I love this song.

pianoem93, you can't say that Ethan isn't as half as good as Dave, they have two different styles of playing. Ethan brings a new flavor to the band, and if you want original, Dave wasn't even part of the "original" Relient k. That is like comparing Niel Pert to Steve Jordan. Both are gloriously great drummers, but each has their own style. More than likely, if you were just an average listener, and didn't know that Dave had left, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

When you think of Relient k you think of those 5 guys. I guess we all just miss Dave Douglas. We don't like all of Ethan's piercings. Dave Douglas did have ear-rings but not a lip ring and nose ring. Dave Douglas was in Relient k for 8 years. It would just be the same if matt hoopes left. Plus i don't like Ethan's voice on No Reaction. Did you like Dave Douglas' voice better? I do. :)
