Fuck anyone who calls Billy Corgan a sell out. Fact of the matter is the mans a talented muscian who has done nothing but rocked out over the years setting the stage for many other bands. The mans a great entertainer and the fact that he is willing to take the time and effort to work with a game like this just shows he's not prude or seems above doing stuff like this.

Why do you say sellout. Musicians are losing money on pirated music, but this way its harder to pirate. Also what if they just like the game and what it is doing for the next genration of music lovers. Definitely. Plus, it's always good to have a hard copy of your music and it's much easier just to record it on tape than to record it onto a computer or arrange to jump into a studio and lay it down, considering all the prep that goes into laying down a track in studio

I met him in 2004 at an art auction and he was talkative to the fans that he knew and at the same time, he was patient and forgiving to someone who was just starstruck at the sight of him. they only have 3 songs that sound awesome. the rest are really repetative. AC/DC didn't bring any thing new to the table besides those. Billy Corgan has more musical ability then any of AC/DC. And has original lyrics. I am tired of Rock n' Roll in every song title... and just because Angus Old (young) knows a blues scale and can play fast doesn't mean anything. What he says is completely unique because he is open minded. He's not being held back, he's thinking for himself. If he believes something is right, why should he listen to others and not himself? How do you know he hasn't taken other's views into consideration? And I have seen many interviews. I think it's great that he thinks like no one else. Billy is open minded. The fans that want the old Pumpkins and beg of them to venture back to that time don't really seem to care about the artist's desire to keep moving and evolving. If you keep going over and over the same stuff, you wind up going nowhere physically and mentally. There's a lot of muddling of bands in genres and people are often dismissive of SP referring to them as grunge. When I heard their music for the first time I actually felt like it was a much needed breath of air from the whole grunge time

I don't consider them grunge, but I consider the people who only like those albums to be grunge fans. I guess theres alot of "casual music fans" out there. I was really surprised; the interviewer actually did his homework. Usually interviews are a rehash of what every layman would know about the band ie David Letterman, jay Leno, MTV etc. So, props to the host. It's like he knew the last 10 years of the band.
