alot of games dont have to be very long to be very good. you can still play it over and over again becouse you ussually have many things to unlock and the game might be harder the second or 3rd time you play it. dont you remember ps1 games? many of those are not longer than 5-6h but they are still awesome and many people still play them today after 10 years! and if you have money that is not a problem.

This and Left 4 Dead are going to be my favorite games this year from the looks of it... I really hope that DICE comes out with a multiplayer like they said they are trying to (think of free-roaming like in GTA IV).... and fyi the 360 and ps3 versions are both good (my friend has it for ps3)... I just prefer the 360 controller because I have big hands. The graphics, etc.. looked the same but if a multiplayer comes out... XBL all the way. =)

Sorry for the multiple postings, but there are a lot of reviews out there that are off... including one that gave some false information (messed up on how many chapters and didn't realize you can turn off the red indicators which really don't help so much after the first chapter or two anyway). All in all, if you enjoy first person games... and you enjoy action, something new, the feeling of freedom while playing a game... get this. The music, graphics, gameplay, everything is just amazing.

The game actually does have melee I think, at least in the PS3 version. alot of the time I wouldn't even shoot, just punch em in the face! but it's an odd button though, like pressing in one of the analog sticks. in fact corn used it at 04:44.

I don't know, I'm not that easily scared either way. This game feels more "jump out and go GRAAAH" then actual fright, which leaves the impression that it's more of a "lets get the player to jump" then "lets make the player crap themselves" kind of scare. If that's the case, it does a good job of the former, but a crappy one of the latter.
