Still, the value of his vids is not in his strength, but rather in the clarity and in his enthusiasm. If you want to check out some strong annotators then I can recommend ChessQueen (GM and womans world champion), Krakkaskak (GM) and KingsCrusher (who plays at master strength but is not titled)

the fact of the matter is, after the immediate explosion of an nuclear weapon, Emergency sirens would basically be rendered inoperable anyway. Sadly, most of these bulletins were made purely to put the public minds at ease, and simply would not be possible in real life, for example, the pure heat of the explosion would probably melt electric cables or damage the sirens, rendering them useless, and the fact is that the damage would be alot more than is portrayed in these videos.

no not really, my friend had a pro boxing match he made $30 down in seattle and they only offered ring assistance. I mean mma fighters probably get paid more well rounded, theres only like 4 pro boxers in the wolrd who can demand million doaller salaries where as many mma fighters make in the 100,000 per fight which you cant say for most pro boxers. Take the contender fighters for instance, many of them were ranked in the top 5 fighters but quit due to not getting a shot and money.

I love your vids - they got me into the theory of chess. :) But I find this choice of game very strange. As great as Lasker and Steinitz were, this game is kind of redundant from a theoretical perspecitive. Nobody would play Ne7 these days - it would make far more sense to focus on the modern lines. @TheMrWartime he is spinning his mag, because with all airsoft guns which are AEG's which means automatic electric gun, has a spinning wheel on the bottom of the magazine. because the mags holds around 300 rounds+ u have to wind the wheel every 50 shots or so, to push more bb's up into the loading part of the mag. its not much of a worry mate :), so where are you from? the uk or USA?

@TheMrWartime That is how you reload a hi-capacity magazine. It's spring loaded and you need to put more tension on the spring by winding it or else the magazine will stop feeding.

knight g1 for white in 16:13 of the video does help? If b was to go Queen h5, white would play knight (g) h3 and end the black onslaught. If b was to capture the knight when white plays Kg1 with bishop, white would recapture by king, and after Qh5 by black, white would just play Kg3. Now white can't check, or sacrifica anything useful. Besides, white bishop now has the option to go e2. Well... my rusted chess could only comprehend this much, and maybe it's all wrong?

I wasn't talking about the black knight forking the white king and queen and rook at 17:16 if that's what ur talking about, because that's the only way a bishop on c1 could intervene, I was talking about white's knight at 15:47 forking the queen and rook. But again, Jrobi said it would be pointless because of black's mating threat. And I see what he means.

That bishop on c8 is blocked by the knight. And the bishop on C1 is one of white's pieces anyway, so, what are you talking about exactly? At 15:45, instead of playing f4, white could have forked the queen and rook, there would have been nothing to stop the fork. However, as Jrobi said, that would only allow the queen to get into the mating process. Correct me if I am wrong.

@md65000 5...e5 here is actually quite bad because of Bb5+ as shown by jrobi. The sveshnikov is 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 e5 6. Ndb5 d6 7.Bg5 etc., which is very different

Maybe he knows "something" about chess, but at least he could pronounce the opening variation correctly (nigh - dorf) Plus, what would have happened if that knight had attempted to trade the knight with the dark-squared bishop? I play against the Najdorf, but I push the f pawn on move 6. That bishop is a valuable piece!
