Wow I really like this version, because it's on a classical guitar. it gives a totally different feeling. the sound reminds me of Greece :P but it has a sort a' holiday vibe :) I like that. the mic is very Veery decent! the recording sounds really good :)

Thank you. :) The microphone is "Røde NT 1000". Pretty cheap and quality is decent for amateur stuff like this. The reason I am not playing it on the western is, that the strings really need replacement and have a very bad tone.

Hi, Andy is simply picking a harmonic with his thumb while using his forefinger to touch the string at the harmonic fret. These are found best pronounced on most guitars 5, 7, and 12 frets above the nut or fretted note. Personally I do believe most good guitar players can play andy mckee songs, but the part that makes their emulations different is the feelings that andy puts into his work, which in its own way is a talent, being able to put into music how you feel... anyone can copy but not everyone can create

yeah, the baritone guitar allows him to tune down low without fear of buzzing, using a high gauge strings on the baritone allows for a full rich deep sound. The sound can be emulated on a stanard acoustic, but to replicate this sound exactly you need a baritone with high gauge strings

No, I'm sorry you're wrong. Innate talent also makes a person learn more quickly and achieve greatness at anything. Obviously you have to be interested in what your studying no matter what, or you won't do it! Likewise, you can be completely obsessed with something and not become amazing at it after a lifetime of practice. How else can you explain child prodigies? I did think that internal combustion could provide many more times the power than stirling. Internal combustion and external combustion (steam), rely on latent heat (that goes directly into changing the state of the working medium). However, stirling simply relies on pressure, volume and temp relationships - its a slower process, but more efficent potentially. The way to go would be use stirling to extract energy from primary source to be used later in electric motor (battery or fuel cell)
