i think you've done a great job. ha ha! you are very funny. there are so many US TV shows and films which depict british people speaking cockney or posh english, or american characters mimicking those accents only because it is the only ones they know and are familiar with. i hope when people outside the UK and england see this vid, they will be able to realise that we have people with so many different accents. not just the cockney and posh english.

eigentlich gut gemacht, als wiener find ich den wiener-dialekt ausbaufähig, da wir wesentlich mehr langziehen und etwas verhunzen (der ansatz war aber zu erkennen). was dir liegen müsste, wäre wohl noch tirolerisch (hat gewisse anlehnungen ans switzerdütsch) und ev. kärntnerisch. "oberösterreichisch" ist dem bayrischen (aufgrund der lage) ja auch nicht so weit entfernt. und falls du mal burgenländisch bzw. ost-steiermärkisch probieren willst - das klingt eher wie ein gebelle :D

The Lebanese dialect sounds like Spanish--the quality of the vowels and the intonation, at least at a lot more than the other dialects. Where are the N African dialects??

All I know is ana men el Jnoob I dont speak like that the only people I know who speak like this are from Bint Jbeil, he is speaking in his accent its not standard. 2awal shi its Hi/bonsoir (bel Lebnani lol) ana 2ismee Mousa Faraj. Haydaa Sha3ir wa 7awajeeb, 3youn, menkhar and so on. Beiruti accent is not standard Lebanese, because Beirutis tend to stress on the word, a basic standard city dialect is what they should have used.

eliaschakkour not all of South Lebanon speaks the Bint Jbeil accent only the Bint Jbeil region speaks that accent. In South Lebanon each region has its own accent. Marj 2a3youn has its own accent, Soor has its own accent, Jezzine has its own accent, Saida as well. Many South Lebanese villages speak the Lebanese city accent! but u wouldnt know because ur not from South Lebanon. but I agree choose a person like myself from South Lebanon who speaks the Standard Lebanese accent for the video ;)

Even Lebanese Beirutis example such as Abo 3abid do not sound Syrian. We do not pull the word to the same extent that the Syrians do and we have many different words. You cannot tell the difference because you are neither Lebanese or Syrian. Japanese and Chinese sound the same to me :P and they are 2 different languages. In fact I cannot tell the difference between Cuban Spanish and Mexican Spanish...but I'm sure they can!

Te felicito chica Bilingüe pero como no saber hacer peruano :S yo soy de Perú pero la verdad te puedo decir que aqui en Perú hay muchos acentos... costa sierra y selva en diferentes ciudades hay diferentes acentos pero en donde hay un acento muy peculiar en todas las ciudades las encuentras en Lima, en Miraflores... oe en la universidad de Lima. ;) Saludos desde Ica - Peru!

Quizá me habría gustado que al hacer el británico, francés, italiano, alemán y americano lo hubieras hecho también en el idioma español pero con su acento característico de cuando personas de esos paises hablan el español. Muchos no entienden el mensaje, pero el pedo empezo por un individuo que creia que por que la chava no pudo pronunciar el dialecto peruano se creia que era el mejor e imposible de imitar. This is not a modern New York accent..it's an old time brooklyn accent..my grandfather sounds like this basically.. but younger people and many older ones who grew up in other parts of the city such as my grandmother do not sound like this. Take it as a joke or a history lesson..but don't try to talk like this now...you will get laughed at.

chinese "dialects" arent really "dialects", thats just a political thing. Every language has dialects, even english, ex. North american english (which breaks down to the canadian and american dialects, and the american dialect has even more dialects within it!), British english, Australian english etc. etc.

This is a funny story my dad told me, he says that if a stone if falling from a mountain a Gyungsando says "Oh a stone! I must move" and moves away. If a Jellado sees a stone falling from a mountain they say "Oh I don't want to get hit" and moves away. This is the first time I have seen a TV show in which potpourri of dialects can be used. It is not a competition with the standard, but, rather, a peaceful coexistence in which everyone has the rights to express themselves without being threatened or insulted and has to respect each other even if they are different. I'm really happy to see South Korea becoming more tolerant in different Korean dialects.

I'm studying Korean right now, and its so fascinating, just like English, there are many dialects of Korean. I think the Gyeongsang and the Jeolla Dialects are interesting. Their vowels have a different intonation. Maybe after learning the main speech, I'll learn the other two for fun.
