the rm-z 450 is only good at the track. the guy who is ride this bike probibly had to stop like a million times for breaks or because the bike overheated. the 450 is to heavy for riding single track. the studies did prove that a 250 two is the best but the xr 250 is probibly your best shot because it is the perfect amount of everything and at a lite wieght. Plus it doesnt start fires in the bushes after you ride in there with a smoker.

every good rider i know likes 2 strokes, they only race 4 strokes because they get more consistent lap times easier. No thats not the excuse.. its just you never rode one. They both excel in different places. And usually in that "comparison" the 4-stroke has a 200cc advantage! 2-strokes require 30 more sec to mix the gas.. and you have to change the top end every so often (woo.. $150 every year?! a 2 hour job IF THAT) 4-stroke require valve jobs more often than the top end needs replaced, and it takes just as long...) So quit your complaining and be happy that other people enjoy the sport!!!

That's the hard way. Break both beads to where the rim falls into the tire, then pull the tube and rim lock out. Pull the rim out of tire. When putting new tire on, use lots of baby powder on the bead and on the inside of the tire and tube. Install tire on rim and break the beads to where the rim is sitting on the inside of the tire. Install the tube little by little while bouncing the rim from side to side. Install the rim lock and seat the beads. Fill with air and you are done.

That's a handy mount device he has for the wheel. I'd be doing it straight on the ground. Then again if you are stuck out in the wilds you'd have to fix it on the ground as well. I've seen some demo's where they take off the sprockets and disc's so you don't bend them if you have to stand on the tyre to break the bead.

the warmer the tire the better.keep the bead loose and as close to the bottom of the bowl at all time,then when you pry on the opposite side of the bead it will feel loose.thats the real "trick" to it.like he sais "its technique,if its hard then you are doing something wrong"

proper tools, you gotta have proper tools or it's really hard if you follow the video directions, and have all the tools he has, after you do it once it gets real easy, I've gotten flats riding and changed at my truck a few times now

I tried to chnge my own bk tub because the plc u pt ar in threw pells of the tub, it didn't hav tat metal tng tat you showed in the movie on it it's the 2nd tim I got a flt Tis tim I trid to fx it but I put mre hols in it. I never tok the tire off becuz Im to scared Ill mess up the drum brake and it'll mess up. I don't have money change it either, please email me and give me instructions on how to change it aswell. you can use large screwdrivers, but you run the risk of pinch flats, by far the worst thing about changing a tire is pinching the tube when you install it, tire irons have smooth rounded edges I would check rockymountainatv they have tire irons very cheap

This is one of the most useful vids on you tube. Thanks heaps. When I follow these instructions my "technique" improved dramatically. Now all the guys get me to change the tyres. There are tricks, even though you say there isn't - use windex, use baby powder to lube the tube, inflate the tube to a certain point. Without these hints tyre changing is a pain in the arse. This makes it easy as. Cheers

after watching and practicing this i realized the key is to make sure the bead always stays as close to the bottom of the bowl as it can.this makes the bead feel looser when prying on it.
