What you just said has nothing to do with the Saturn or Dreamcast.. He only claimed.. He didn't stop RPG's from entering the dang country. Therefor he is still not the cause of Saturn's failure. Oh so I guess next he is to blame for the Great SEGA CD and 32X add-ons... Bernie came in the middle of Saturn's horrid run.. (Keep in mind I love Saturn) He simply pulled the plug to start a whole new SEGA. Which was the beginning of Dreamcast: a good start....

hmm.. i have a ps2 i fucking hate it compared to my old dreamcast there were original games with replayability why'll the ps2 for me had small replayability in it's games also notice sega just made games nintendo just made games while sony made other electronics and microsoft also made computers and don't focus on much of the originality in the games

Playstations always have a rough start, but they mature into excellent systems. I doubt the Dreamcast would be a better system in comparison, if it would have survived the whole Gen. Sony is good at polishing their products. Look at the crappy start of the PS3 with "no games" and now the library gets more and more impressive.

SEGA gave up because they were worried that they might get beat down by another system after another attempt, all those Sony dorks buying Sony's crap consoles are wasting money and missing out on a REAL system like the Dreamcast... Dreamcast may be old... But who cares about the graphics that much, besides, Dreamcast has WAY better games! Like Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure's 1 & 2, Sonic Shuffle, Half-life (canned somehow but can still be played), and ALOT more!

haha, I enjoyed that video. PS2 really had a weak and overhyped launch. Games aren't what they use to be anymore after the DC went away, I feel... Jet Set Radio, Typing of the Dead, Samba, Space Channel 5, Shenmue, Power Stone 2, Chu Chu Rocket, Seaman, PSO, so many different and quirky games.

Still worth buying a Dreamcast, Ebay £20. Shenmue I and II £25-£30 and of course a VGA cable from ebay USA £15-20. Shenmue I the best game I've ever played. Shenmue II is also the best game I've ever played. And I'm nearly 40 and seen countless RPGs.

this game was ahead of its time. If sega timed the realese of its console launch closer to the release of ps2 dreamcast could of hung in there alot longer than it actually did. The first time playing shenmue blew my mind n i was hooked ever since. I still play shenmue and hope yu suzuki will hear all the shenmue fans and complete the saga with a third game. Fuck man this game its a jewel. I got N64 version a this version its totally awsome, i wish i could find where to download. Thats the reason why i will never get all of the cadeux stuffs ´cause nintendo blew them up, most parts of the game were deleted as the cadeux too. ineed this versio on my PC. This game was the best game i have ever played (DC version). Music was so atmospheric, put the shits up me sometimes, the playroom level was creepy as shit. I would love it if they brought this game up to date and re-released it onto 360. The fact is that this game was made by Akklaim Teesside (uk) who are no longer around. If enough of us make enough noise some descent software company may groww the balls to release this amazing game all over again.

What about the Playstation? I bet it's not as nice as either but I saw it for sale second hand so may have to get it.. I did have it on the N64 for a while - I really liked it but only finished half of it for some reason.. Cool graphics, I was very impressed at the time - like the teddy bear 'warp' bit.

the dreamcast version by far. I`ve played both versions and all I can say is that the DC version is creepier and much funnier than the N64 version. The levels are bigger, the music sounds better. I need to buy the DC version, dammit, I have the N64 but it`s not as fun as the DC version. It misses a lot of detail.

fuckers like this are the reason alot of games suck nowadays. if he really played 25 hours like he said he did, he wouldnt have made so many fundamental errors about the plot like he did. it sounds like he had some minion play the game and then describe it to him, cuz it sounds third hand to me. the reason this game was a sleeper hit was because people like that don't want to think about the games they play, they just wanna blow shit up. god forbid you be engaged in a plot.

In my opinion, no I don't. There's a fine line between a computer, and a video game console. I don't agree with the term video computer games since games really are animations, when certain conditions are met in the game. The PC section is contantly ignored when it comes to games, except for EC stuff. Though I have to state I have a Genesis, Gamegear, 32X, Sega CD, NES, and Nintendo 64 emulator on my laptop with a crap load of ROM files.

But Sega them selves have come out & said it's not true. Your forgetting....in the west no company's make games for the Dreamcast but in Japan there are many many company's that still do.
