All I can say is they both have their own unique style of music. The beta band can't make radiohead songs and the same goes to radiohead. But I'm sure they both admire each other's music. As for their lyrics, both bands have songs which lyrics doen't make much sense but I think the most important thing is whether it moves you in any way. That's what it matter most to me because we all have different taste.

The beta band are excellent, as are Radiohead. I couldn't give a toss if the front man of this band is a wanker or not I'm not as shallow to dub an entire bands catalogue shit if the front man is an arsehole. (I.e i love smashing pumpkins but Billy Corgan is a self satisfying dick head). It just pisses me off when people compared bands to Radiohead, they are an amazing band and due to their constant shift in style you cant really compare them to a folk/rock band like .. the beta band.

Thanks for that. It seems that nobody can make a passing observation these days, without being taken in a negative way! I am a die hard Pet Shop Boys fan, and adore their music. I just couldn't help but hear Stings voice in this song! The same applies to the PSB's tune "BEFORE". I think the Bee Gees could have had a hit with it as well! I don't know why you got rated down, it's not as if you said you explicitly hear his vocals, it's just that it isn't hard to imagine this song as being sung by Sting. It's not to suggest that the group who performs the song doesn't do a good job, but I still believe Sting could deliver an extremely moving rendition.
