I actually like hearing the show theme, but I tried to watch some episodes of the show...I used to think I sorta liked it, but I've come to find some more worthwhile shows on TV like "Survivor" and the adorable "That's so Raven", to name a couple. At least you don't see the Confederate flag prominently displayed on those shows! Plus I'm not exactly a redneck, so the Dukes was a hard show for me to get into I guess. I should feel kinda bad, given its popularity lol, but I know what I like.

And don't get me wrong either, but Basie also covered some of the area's that Duke didn't. Remember that Duke was a mostly crossover and commercial band in the earlier years, and even still, the Basie band had those down home musicians who had TOO MUCH soul, man lol. It's not even funny. But these two musicians and bands... consider them to have some of the BEST bands in ANY MUSICAL GENRE in history.

Really??..after working with SW for 30 years, I'd hate to think that he'd "flubbed" it. I beg to differ. Nate Watts is the b'leader on SW shows. He can cue everybody else by sight except...we-ell. An 'outside' musical cue for song sections is the best bet and Stevie got it. There's another one at 3:33-36 with bent notes.
