Mexorgullo: pues la verdad es que no haces honor a tu nombre, porque si se trata de orgullo creo que Pedro Infante es un orgullo no solamente para Mexico sino para toda Latinoamérica. Her whiney voice has made jazz popular with the trend happy youth of today, and I applaude her for that. But she will never have the timeless quality that Ella has! this is pure gold...Ella basically created the song...the show tune version isnt comparable.. but if you get a chance to hear it, Blossom Dearie does a version, very much based on Ella's, which has its own appeal...she has probably the thinest voice of any jazz singer ever, but theres a vulnerability to it which suits the song......
