Just read your comment and I totally agree. A remake would be stupidly pointless because no one these days would understand why they didn't just run off with each other. It was of its time and should stay that way. The notion of staying together for the kids is now an old-fashioned one, and no-one is remotely scared of the stigma of infidelity or divorce, particularly not today's Hollywood crowd, so why bother? Please don't tell me some complete tit of a director wants to do a remake!

ALl that remarks are rather rich coming from someone who is also my age. Even if I am unable to appreciate a classic (surely it is up to me to decide what I appreciate), that strikes me as a lesser affliction to angrily ranting at everyone with a different opinion to mine. You may have noticed I suggested an entire cast that would be younger. And to suggest that Celia Johnson is not beatiful strikes me as rather blasphemous, as does calling McEwan's ATonement "youth-centred dreck".

Its quite telling of your (young) age to suggest that 20-something, supermodel-looking Keira K. should recreate the role of a bored, middle aged housewife, or to think that she or ANY overexposed Hollywood "it" kid out there should have any part of this classic story. A remake is stupidly pointless in the first place, but to recommend Keira fucking Knightley shows that you don't deserve to appreciate a classic ADULT masterpiece like this. Stick to the youth-centered dreck you love.

I love this movie too. It was all so dearly sad. But Laura did the right thing by going back to her family, and Alec to join his brother's medical practice in S. Africa. The encounter never really would have lasted because of the sneaking around they had to do. I love the music of Rachmanioff's Piano Concerto #2. It's the perfect accompaniment to the film. I have to get that recording and a copy of the movie.

Yes! There could be lots of undiscovered creatures all around us. It could be that they are so good at detecting humans (or other animals) that they never get spotted by the human eye. And perhaps they dispose of their dead somehow (just like humans) and that's why we've never found any remains. It sounds bizarre, but it's probably true.

I was sceptical, until I researched and looked at the video. At 1st viewing you think Black Bear, but if you slow it down and look at how it scurried off, it does not appear bear like at all. I have seen Black Bear in the woods and when they run off they are much higher in the back end than what is on this video. I am not saying the is 'bigfoot' but it is for sure no bear, and nothing I've ever seen before.

when bears walk on all fours, their rear ends stick up at the same level as their necks. however if you ever noticed gorillas or any other large apr, their rear ends are lower to the ground. Bent at the back legs, and their front arms keep them up higher. if you pay close attention, you can see that the figure possesses the same qualities of an ape.

Okay so I ripped the video and took some still frames, enhanced and enlarged them... it actually doesn't look like a bear. Its standing on two feet and then walks off (fast) off frame. If this was fake WELL DONE because it looks just as good as the Patterson film from the 60s (when frozen and enlarged)

I grew up in a area not to far from where this video was shot and have been to the enchanted forest many times. this is thick dense forest with miles of unpopulated mountain landscape, almost anything could hide undetected there, however this is bear country and that looked and sounded like a bear to me. You were darn lucky it wasn't protecting cubs

I think that NASA trained astronauts would recognize the "millions" of other possibilities out there. That is why this is so significant. Even to this day, they don't know what it was (or at least that's what they tell us). They could see common space debris and just say "Okay there's some rock, ice, etc." But no. Not necessarily (but i do understand where u r coming from) Honestly looking at their repective fueds or major programs. Misawa had more 5* matches and MOTY candidates then Mutoh. And in retrospect, Kobashi and Kawada's matches have overall been better quality than Chono and Hashimoto. I honestly have Mutoh as my Favorite foreign wrestler! But Misawa just had better opponents! (IMHO)

Misawa has been far more consistant than Mutoh, although when Mutoh was on top form I thought he was the more exciting worker. Mutoh also had excellent people to work with. Chono and Hashimoto were world-class workers in the '90s, not to mention the likes of Choshu, Sasaki, Hase, Fujinami and Takada so it is unfair to say Misawa is better solely due to his opponents.
