Do be proud. Eurovisions come and go... but this performance has riveted itself to my memory. I saw the show as it was broadcasted and it was truly magnificent. And the crowd's reaction just adds to the whole thing. I simply cannot get enough of this, especially how they start serene and gradually ramp the intensity higher and higher until the explosive finale where the growd goes nuts. *This* is how you make a memorable performance... the best of the best, completely out of the blue and go BAM!

I aggree that the best singer was Raphael. But I also believe it is a best song- not singer competion. I was in Europe for a short time in 67 when I heard the song for the first and last time until just 2 years ago. That song music and lyrics stayed in my head for over 40 years. I just finished listening to "Yo soy aquel" and I can't rememeber the melody, just the passion and quality of Raphaels' performance. Merci Cherie is memorable. Now come on..this was greatt! it didnt deserve to come last! I think Europe is being a little unfair with France,the UK,Spain and Germany... Im from Greece by the way..
