A save is a save. You must not be a goalie otherwise you'd know a good goalie wouldn't have to make a sprawling glove save like this, it would be a sliding butterfly from deeper in the crease. He's out too far with 91 being where he is. It doesn't suddenly become more difficult to make a save in game 7 OT!? Adrenaline is pumping even more... you must be one of those overweight hockey fanatics who play the sofa position from their living room rather than living the dream.

Even if he declined to sign autographs completely, why would you have a fuss about that? Is there a law saying he has to spend hours signing things like "all the other skaters"? It's not fun for everybody. Some famous actors NEVER sign autographs, Plushenko clearly does all the time for free. Maybe not always after his shows, but if you walked up to him on the street, if you met him somewhere at random, he would. He never got a dime of his wifes money. She tried to take away his apartment!

So he's basically giving priority to the people who are his biggest fans, and who have spent more money, therefore get attention. What is wrong with that? Exactly what part do you have a problem with? Him making a living and not performing for you for free, or him giving priority of his time to his biggest fans? He has millions of fans, if he signed autographs for all of them at his shows, he'd never leave. I don't see what the problem is. I'm sure if you walked up to him on the street he'd sign for you. Not that he HAS to do even that! Can you imagine people wanting you to sign stuff all the time? It would be really annoying.

Plushenko participated in the Eurovision Song Contest last May next to the Russian singer Dima Bilan. Obviously he meant to help the Russian entry win (which they did), but the sight of the best ice-skater in the world making small rounds in just 3 m3 was kind of sad.

He looks like a bear on ice. He's fat, and slow, and he skates the way he did when the ice was "shallow". Ok, he's got jumps, but apart from that- his spins are far away from being perfect, his artistry could be described with one word and it's "mocking" and I haven't seen even close anything that could be close to a professional step sequence. Dear Lastdamage , it is Plu ( pronouncing ploo) - shen -( as this , "shen" , just as saying Shell , but shen! ) - ko ( as "co" from coca cola). So , Plushenko. The stress is on the first syllable - "Plu" . Perhaps , the Russians pronounce his name differently. But , this is how we perceive his name as hearing it in competitions. Hope I have been explicit .
