Wow. Foster Brooks was such a Genius, God Bless him. The remarkable thing is that by the time he started doing these roasts, he had been sober for nearly 10 yrs or more. He was the greatest "drunk" impression as Rich Little was (and still is) the greatest over all impresssionist. Can't you see the difference between these artists and the ones out there now? Mrs Dino Crocetti had a problem with Sinatra related posts and they took her site down before this....when it came back up she said that she wouldn't post Sinatra. I think Sheffield Enterprises (his children?) control his image rights and other people have commented that they keep doing sweeps on You Tube. But there are other rare Sinatra posts up there at the moment so maybe she is just reorganising her channel. I subscribe to her channel so hope it is nothing more than that

Can anybody please tell me why they took all the videos that were posted from "MrsDinoCrocetti" OFF of YouTube? I know that "Crocetti" was Dean Martins last name, so I just assumed that is was his wife of family member posting those videos. What did they do that was in viotlation? Really had some videos that nobodyelse had either, real high quality stuff. Just what was the VIOLATION ?????????????? This world is messed up, all about money. The reason you heard of him may have been from his suicide, but that's not the reason you didn't know him until his suicide. Your profile says you're only 19. I'm 26 myself. I read about DFW in Rolling Stones, until then I never heard of him or his books. He was writing these books and teaching at universities before people like you and I were even born tho. That is more likely why we didn't know him. His suicide he will be remembered for. Maybe he was genius, he wanted to be remembered.

I think the real loser is you. For you keep trying to prove you are right and others are wrong. Let them feel what they want about him. Besides he was a victim of sorts or he wouldn't have killed himself. Depression is never an excuse nor is suicide either. There must have been something missing in himself or his life to have pushed him to commit that act. I know from personal experiences. I just died inside.she just doesnt have the range..or voice...or just general ability to sing opera...she's obviously had no training or she wouldnt be flailing around like that and she probably wouldnt suck so bad.. If you'd like to see a great rendition of this I suggest finding the Erika Miklosa Version here on youtube, or even better Diana Damrau

I was in the Navy & our son's due date was near. I was fortunate to catch a flight home. During the flight I was able to sit in the cockpit in the back. I noticed during the flight that blue sparks were coming off the windshield by the wipers. I was informed that it was St. Elmo's Fire. Ten days later our son arrived. So, when I first heard this song it immediately clicked. Now, whenever I hear this song I think of my son & that magical lighting show on the aircraft that took me home to him.

Just saw them tonight. They played this on a projector during the song. The whole stage was blacked out. It was friggin' amazing. At the end of the show they all grabbed horns and marched into the crowd and jammed for like tne minutes with all of us bouncing and smiling around. It was the coolest show ever. e even had a conga line. I've never been to a show where the band asked the crowd to form a conga line. till now, that is.

Yes. But they weren't making them frequently like they did after Foster took over. the songs started to sound the same. I'm not saying that Foster is a bad producer but I think he should've left Chicago alone and Chicago should've gotten another producer because they were starting to go down hill. This man is amazing. Up to now, I had only listened to his music. This interview is quite inciteful into the man. I am very pleased with this because he is a genuine person - he is REAL. Any critic who would attempt to call him a perfectionist would be dead wrong. He loves what he does and appreciates his God-given talent. I have to say that back in my teens and through today, I have always enjoyed his work. It is a shame that age 14 is the "benchmark". Kids don't know GREAT music these days.

All I here is we don't accept unsolicited music. I am a member of ASCAP, but they don't help either. I know I could try sending my music through a music lawyer to a company, etc. But, which lawyer. That's too bad. I miss the good music. Very few artists today grab me. I don't like the direction of pop music. It used to be that there was true artistry in a lot of "pop." Now, there is very little, and the record industry promotes this change so they can sell to the masses that don't know anything better. it is really strange, actually. But, when the public hears a great artist, like Eva Cassidy for instance, they DO know she is amazing, when they finally get the chance to hear greatness.

Concordo! Una grande pellicola di Sergio Citti sceneggiata con il grande Vincenzo Cerami, definirla 'filmaccio' mi sembra ignobile! Citti illustra un campionario di umanità con un ironia oltre i confini del sentimento tragico. la trama ruota intorno allo spogliarsi e il rivestirsi appunto in un casotto o per meglio dire cabina balneare. Di Citti consiglio vivamente 'Accattone', 'Ostia', 'Storie scellerate'. Alla faccia delle porcate holliwdiane che ci vengono sempre più spesso propinate.
